How to appoint leaders ?

As we are nearing the election in our State,  it will be much useful for us to meditate on the conditions the Lord Almighty put on appointing  leaders over Israel.

In the book of Deuteronomy, we read the following conditions .

1. No stranger: Should not appoint a stranger. He should be one among the brothers.

(Deu. 17:15)

2. No multiplication of horses: He should not go to Egypt to multiply horses or cause the people to turn to Egypt . (V 16)
3. Not many wives, not much silver and gold: (v 17)
4. Keep the law book with him: (v 18)
5. Read the law book all the days of life : (v. 19)
6. Heart not lifted above his brethren: (v. 20)

Can we think of such a leader taking  responsibility of administration in our State? It is in the hands of God’s children. They can write decrees (Esther 8:8) and  prophesy with the authority the Lord has given.

George, President of the global Council of Indian Christians (Gcic) has condemned the violence and told Fides: ' these men have committed a crime and must be stopped. Last month alone 25 extremists beat men, women and children and a church was vandalized, in Raipur district".

Anti-Christian violence and the implications that all this brings to the life of Pastors will be a topic of discussion at a conference to be held in Goa from April 5 to 8, in which Bishops, priests, lay people, theologians, activists will also discuss on the issue of religious intolerance in India. HC rejects bail to 10 convicts in professor hand chopping case by radical muslims

Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday refused to grant bail to ten convicts in the case related to handchopping of hand of Professor T. J. Joseph by Islamic Militants in Kerala,India The Kerala High Court today refused to grant bail to ten convicts in the case related to the chopping off of a hand of a college professor in 2010 for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through a question paper he had set.

When their bail application came up for hearing, a division bench, comprising Justice K T Sankaran and Justice V Raja Vijayaraghavan, ruled that grant of bail to the accused will adversely affect the trial and security of witnesses. "If bail is granted at this stage, that will adversely affect the trial of absconding accused as well as security of witnesses," the bench said.

All the 13 convicts belonging to a radical Islamic outfit have filed appeals against their conviction by the NIA court with ten of them seeking bail.

END OF THE (OLD TESTAMENT) LAW ON THE CROSS OR BEFORE THAT?

     We see it in Romans 10:4 that the law ended with Jesus Christ. Any activity based inheritance was replaced by faith (on Jesus) based inheritance.

     Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

     But what we see in Luke 18:22 is that the Lord had ended the Old Testament law (meaning the 10 commandments) with an upgraded law which is superior to the old even ahead of His crucifixion! The upgraded law includes the Old Testament commandments as well. (A few of the Old Testament commands were discarded by the Lord through His subsequent teachings, which we are not going to discuss here).

THE ADDITIONAL COMMANDMENTS

     What are the additional commandments in the upgraded New Testament law?

     Part 1: “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven;”

     Part 2: “and come, follow Me”.

     Let us look at the Tamil version of Luke 18:22

    The Tamil version makes it clear that the rich man was directed to follow Jesus only AFTER selling his ALL belongings and distributing the same to the poor people!

THE NEW TESTAMENT RULES – A DEEPER LOOK

     We were all struggling to understand the meaning of “disciple of Christ”.

     Well, the Lord has explained it more here.

     A disciple of Christ (follower) is one

        1) who is ready to give up all his belongings and give them to the poor, and

        2) one who is ready to follow Jesus (and become His disciple).

     And the Lord has made it clear that these are the two principles in addition to the Old Testament principles he mentioned to the rich man as the guiding principles for anyone who wants to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

MORE UNDERSTANDING FROM JESUS TEACHING:

1) SELL ALL THAT YOU HAVE AND DISTRIBUTE TO THE POOR

    1a) SELL ALL THAT YOU HAVE = GIVING FIRST PRIORITY TO JESUS.

     Matthew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

         Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

        1b)  “DISTRIBUTE TO THE POOR”

      The Lord had been focusing on the poor people all through His ministry. I am giving a few of the references here.

     Matthew 11:5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

         Luke 6:20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: “Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.

A normal person would think, “My goodness, what is wrong with all of these people? Are these people normal (psychologically stable)? Is this the hierarchy of mentally unstable people God created as per Ephesians 4:11?” The answer is NO.

God did not create the above-mentioned hierarchy. Men created these huge titles by adding and subtracting and misusing God’s words.

For God, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are all at the SAME LEVEL. He classifies them as His servants. One is not superior to another. They are to teach God’s word and are servants of God.

According to modern-day churches/religious institutions, the hierarchy works as this (Figure 1):

God >>> Evangelist or Prophet or Pope or Bishop >>>> People who want to learn the way of God

According to the scriptures, this is how God works (Ephesians 4:11-12) (Figure 2)

God  >>> People who want to learn the way of God >>> Evangelist or Prophet or Pope or Bishop (They are servants of God. So they have to work below the people, not above the people. They serve the people from below, not from above. If they rule from above, then they become a Nicolaitan.)

When we read Ephesians 4:11-12, it clearly says, “

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”. The role of all the apostles and others are for equipping the saints. The word “equipping” comes from the Greek word “katartismos” (concordance number 2677). The word means preparing fully the people.

Let’s look at an example in a modern-day situation:

The king gave his maids, butlers, chief of staff, secretaries and his advisors orders for the equipping of the people so that they can serve in the king’s palace. Here the king gives direct orders to his servants (maids, butlers, chief of staff, secretaries and advisors) saying, do whatever is required to serve and teach my people so that they can serve in my palace. The people over here are supposed to serve the king and not his servants.

Now going back to Ephesians 4:11-12, how many apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers do you know that are willing to do the following for you?

• Clean your home.
• Clean your toilets.
• Give money to help you.
• Provide you with shelter and food.
• Pick you up from your home and take you to the supermarket.
• Help you in times of need.
• Cook food for you.
• Find a job for you.
• Encourage you to do great things in life.
• Come to your home and teach you the word of God.

I am sure we all know the answer to the above question, which is, there is hardly anyone. Why is it that they do not want to do the above-mentioned things? Because then they will be seen as a servant. Since they have already appointed themselves with these huge titles like the “Presiding Evangelist of the Church of God”, how can they then do things that a servant would do? It would be an embarrassment for them.

It’s not an occasional or solitary act; it’s a continual one.

Casting.

The Hebrew word “shalak,” which is used here for “cast,” basically means to “throw far from, hurl, pluck out, etc.”  Thus, it’s a picture of a long heave, not a dropping nearby.  In reality, it’s the same picture for “casting all your cares upon Him (Jesus) for He cares for you” (I Pet. 5:7).

Why should such a word be used instead of that like “hand over to?”

Simply because “casting” is a long-distance relinquishing of, which lessens the likelihood of our quickly picking it up again.  And, when we realize it’s our “burden” and “cares”we’re giving to Him, we realize why He said“For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Mt. 11:28-30).  Truly, when we’re yoked to Him, He’s the One Who slips in under our burdens and says, “Here, let Me bear them for you.”  Glory!!

Yes, somehow we arrive at the conclusion that being burdened is being spiritual—i.e.,“I’ve got my own little cross to bear.”  But, oh, nothing could be farther from the Truth!  Nothing!!  In fact, always walking around weighed down by the “cares of the world” gives more the impression of an abandoned, homeless orphan than it does an adopted child of the King of kings!  That’s why we must take Him at His Word and relinquish those burdens into His loving arms, knowing “He shall sustain us and not allow us to be moved (Heb. ‘mowt’—‘to slip, shake, fall, decay, be carried away, etc.’).”  Hallelujah!!

Now, we must remember that He will not force Himself on us and aggressively wrench that burden from our grasp.  A thousand times no!  Instead, like the Perfect Gentleman, He’ll continue quietly “standing at the door and knocking,” asking us to open up to Him (Rev. 3:20).  Then, He’ll whisper, “And, while you’re at it, why don’t you give Me your burden?”

Years ago Hannah Whithall Smith, in her book The Christian’s Secret Of A Happy Life, wrote of a man who was walking down the road with a large sack of cotton on his back.  As he struggled under the load, a gentleman sitting atop a large wagon, pulled by two horses, passed by.

“Would you like a ride?” the passerby asked.

“Really?” cried the weary man.  “Yes!  Yes!  I’d love to ride.”

So, up into the wagon he climbed, sitting down on the seat next to the driver.  However, the heavy sack of cotton remained on his back.

A bit puzzled, the stranger asked, “Well, aren’t you going to throw that sack into the back?”

And, to his surprise, the man replied, “Oh, no—I couldn’t ask you to do that too!”

To this humorous anecdote, Smith added,“Such is always the case when we’re saved by Grace, but not resting in Grace.”  May today be the day that we “let go and let God.”

Section 1 -  The Old Testament

3. From Adam to Nimrod

First of all you may notice that the story of creation, the fall of man and indeed  the whole of Genesis, is probably the most contentious book of the Bible; the one that is attacked most regularly and with the most venom. This is because Genesis, particularly chapters 1-11, is the foundation upon which the rest of the Bible is built. The creation story, the fall of man, Satan’s role in it and how the nations were birthed are fundamental to our understanding of the world we live in. This is why it is so unpopular with that fallen world. If it can be undermined or disproved in any way, the rest of the Bible would be discredited, just as a building would collapse without its secure foundation.

However what happened in the Garden of Eden has a very real impact on the world today.  After Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan’s offer to become as gods through secret knowledge, sin entered into the world, which became cursed with death. God pronounced several judgements on all concerned; curses that would affect all their descendents for the rest of time. He says to the serpent:

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers;  he will crush your head,  and you will strike his heel." Genesis 3:15

This is the first of hundreds of Old Testament prophecies that refer to Jesus Christ. God had already set in place a plan of redemption whereby the offspring of a human woman would crush  the serpent’s head but would be bruised in the process.

Adam and Eve went on to have two sons called Cain and Abel. Cain infamously killed his younger brother in a fit of jealousy, was banished from God’s presence and moved to a land just to the East of Eden where he is noted to have set about becoming a builder of cities. He is thereafter always associated with the evil one.

The Garden of Eden incidentally is described by scripture to have been located in the Tigris-Euphrates valley which would place it in the area we now refer to as Iraq.

The rebellion of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden marked the start of a severe decline into depravity and perversion for the world. The descent into wickedness was so severe that it reached a point where God saw that everything human beings thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil (Gen 6:5). This was also around the time where we find out about the strange creatures known as Nephilim.

2 Chr 30:21, 22 In this verse we see King Hezekiah celebrating 7 days feast for the Lord. For that he called all the people of Israel. They joined together and worshiped our Lord for 7 days.

“..For seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and priests sang to the Lord every day, accompanied by the Lord's instruments of praise”.

In the same way we are going to celebrate 7 days of special worship. In the end i.e. on 13/4/16 we join together and worship our Lord. BFF trainees, troop churches, NWC regular worshipers must take part in it. Come worship our Lord as a team.

 2 Chron 30:27

“..God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place”.

In the same way those who attend and worship the Lord these days - their prayer will reach heaven. They will receive the special blessing and promises from the hands of the Master. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Gen 9:2

Promise for day 7

 “The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace”. Ps 29:11

Day 2:

• When I was worshipping the presence of God filled my heart. I got a joyful experience I never felt before. Thank you Jesus
• When I was worshipping I saw the angels standing near me. The Holy Spirit filled my heart.
• Mighty joyful anointing filled my heart. Thank you Jesus for this experience
• When I was worshiping Jesus touched my left shoulder. I thank my God

Day 3:

• When I was praying in my home God showed me a verse Mal 4:2-3. Then I desired to go to the worship centre, There I saw the same verse pasted on a notice board as a promise verse. In worship God spoke to me. Worship is not going to be the same hereafter It will be warfare worship. God is teaching every worshiper bring a New movement through the war songs. Which will change the atmosphere, the city of the nation.  

David casting out demons

It was the Lord God  who appointed David to be  in the palace of the king of Israel, not Saul. The Lord allotted duty also to David. whenever the Lord sent an  evil spirit  on Saul, David had to cast it out.

And it came to pass, when the  evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. 1 Sam 16:23

The Lord gave practice to cast out evil spirits in the palace and David started his ministry with casting out demons.

Jesus gave the power and authority to his  disciples over all  evil spirits . (Lk. 9:1)

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” Mark 16:17

Jesus also started his ministry in the Jewish synagogue with casting out demons. Lk. 4:33-35

Casting out demons seems to be the first and simplest of  all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. How many of us are entitled with the gift of casting out evil spirits?

Is the Gift of prophecy imparted during the  APT class?

No. The believers have already received it when they were anointed but the gift was not activated. In APT class they are helped to activate it. The participants see the difference between a dead Church Worship full of rituals and the emergence of a small new church full of vibrant members, ready to be led by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:14).This New Church where everybody is mature in each one’s gift, grown into the full stature of Jesus Christ, without any banners or ads, silently permeates into the society, adds its saltiness and taste to it, penetrates through and overthrow the ancient towers of religiosity and religion through its softest roots of love (Eph. 3:17) This Church, built up in Christ (Col. 2:7) of individuals not of infrastructures nor palatial buildings of Gothic or any other style, will make its impact on this new generation, will draw them towards Jesus the Nazarene and will mOld His perfect bride.

The 29th Batch of BE FORMED AND FORM Training was held at Panaiyur from 29 ^th March to 3^th  April 2016. The Lord sent eleven persons from across the country to be formed and to form others in their respective places. All the trainees under-went the training and have come out with flying colors. The curriculum included the Spiritual Courses like Character Formation, methods to engage in spiritual warfare and Personal counseling. From this batch theory and practical training sessions in the gifts of Deliverance, Healing,and  Prophecy were conducted which was every useful to the participants. The memorable incident of this batch is practical healing session at hospital; they cure the patient’s sickness instantly in the name of Jesus. God’s blessings and anointing was there throughout the training period. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the teachers who have put in their best to equip these trainees.

Riaz Masih and Nasreen Riasat had been married for four years, with their first child on the way in just a month, when they decided a slow walk in the park would be just the thing to enjoy a pleasant Sunday evening in Lahore.

On 27, March 2014; The Additional Session Judge Ghulam Murtaza of Lahore Lower Court sentenced Sawan Masih (Pakistani Christian) to death during a trial in Central Jail Lahore. Sawan Masih was accused of making derogatory remarks against the Prophet of Islam, Hazart Muhammad. The 26 years Old Sawan Masih, who is a father of three children, has consistently maintained his innocence during the year-long trial. The most common phenomena in Pakistan, those courts are under high pressure of extremists and they always give death penalty to the victims of blasphemy and the most sufferers are the religious minorities in Pakistan. The lawyer of Sawan Masih declared in the media to appeal the sentence in the Lahore High Court.

More than 300 other people were wounded, officials said.The explosion occurred in the parking area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park close to children's swings. The park is a popular site for members of Lahore's Christian community, many of whom had gone there to celebrate the Easter weekend holiday.

Thomas Uzhunnalil was crucified by ISIS on Good Friday ~ Cardinal Schönborn confirmed the priest's martyrdom during the Easter Vigil.Austrian media is reporting that Cardinal Schönborn of Vienna confirmed last night, during the Easter Vigil at Stephansdom that the Salesian priest, Fr. Thomas Uzhunnalil was crucified by ISIS on Good Friday. Polonia Christiana is also carrying the news, based on the Austrian reports. 

TEACHING: “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”- The two-in-one reply by Jesus: a) Give up everything & b) follow me! - Lesson for our new Testament life. (Luke 18:18-22)

HOW JESUS RESPONDS TO THE CHALLENGE?

Let us see the conversation between Jesus and this powerful and rich person – a ruler.

 Luke 18:18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 19 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God”.

 The first part of reply of Jesus was to kill hypocrisy. The Lord made it clear that none other than God is good. It is a simple lesson for all of us that when visitors come and praise us like “heaven and angels”, we must shut their mouth by telling them, “Only Lord Jesus is good”.

Well, that is not the special revelation here. It is only a sidelight.

THE REPLY – PART 1

In the next part, the Lord begins to answer his question. This first part of the Lord's reply belongs to the Old Testament way of life:

Luke 18:20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ”

With this the Lord's reply was over. Apparently, the Lord has taken a part of the 10 commandments as the Law for the Old Testament life. The answer was given in full.

THE REPLY – PART 2    

Now there was an additional question from the rich man!

Luke 18:21 And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.”

 Apparently the rich and powerful ruler had doubt about the Old Testament law. He did not believe that he could make it to Heaven through the Old Testament commandments. Or he wanted to show to Jesus that he was very righteous!

 The Lord had to reveal to him (and to us also) that the Old Testament commandments lapsed when the Son of Man rose to preach the gospel! Wow.

Let us look at the next part of our Lord's reply which is the actual explanation to his question as to how to inherit eternal life

Luke 18:22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “YOU STILL LACK ONE THING. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

This reply was not only meant for him but for all the new Testament believers.

Through Luke 18:22, the Lord has redrawn the principles to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. From this moment onwards, this changed rule has become the basic principle for every new Testament believer to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Even before the Lord was crucified, the  new rules took effect.

This is the revelation of the day!

The rich man had indeed fulfilled the law and thus eligible to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven as per the Old Testament commandments. But the Lord had made it clear that he was not eligible to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven without doing the “ONE MORE THING”. The rules have been apparently redrawn.

And so John the baptist started his mission with the clarion call to “repent” which was not there in the Old Testament commandments.

Matthew 3:2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Jesus also gave the very same clarion call when he started His gospel work.

 Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Translating the Greek words of Ephesians 4:11

When we translate Ephesians 4:11 Greek words, we find out what is actually being said. Technically, the words apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers mean only one thing, “a person to teach God’s way”. Unfortunately, the Christian world has desecrated what God actually meant. Men have twisted God’s words and have made a TITLE competition to show everyone on where they stand in the hierarchy of their church which is ruled by men. For example,

Reason 2:

Reason 2 is most important .

If God did not harden Pharaoh’s heart then the 10 plagues would not have happened in Egypt.

1. InExo 8:23says every plague God made a distinction between His people and Egyptians. The Egyptians were severly affected by the ten plagues where as the Isrealites remained untouched.

In Ex 14:31

And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

The scripture says people lay their trust on the Lord and his servant Moses because of the hard times Egyptians faced.

2.Secondly, why does God allows persecution?

Here bible says In Exo 8:22to show them that “He is the Lord”. In Exo 8:10says,” to show them there is no one like the Lord, our God”. If no plagues had happened, no one would know what a mighty god we serve.

Finally,    

Ex 10:1-2

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord."

Here the bible clearly says why God allows persecution because we have to know who our God is. That’s why God allows persecution and do miracles to save from them. So what should we have to do in that time? The    Bible says,

Rom 8:35-36

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

Here we see the confidence of Paul. In the whole Bible the most persecuted person was Paul. One time when he was arrested for spreading the gospel (Acts 28) one viper bit was on his hand. Everybody in the Island thought he is going to be die .But he was not taking care of it .what happened, nothing affected him. The gospel says, ‘everybody feared and believed Jesus’.

Every persecution teaches something In

Heb 5:8

Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered

So without persecution Christion life is meaningless. If no persecution then there won’t be any miracles in either. Like the Istealites we also will not know the power and authority of our God. Bible says don’t fear about anything and just keep going and no one can stop us. 

Rev 2:10

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The forthcoming second anniversary of National Worship Centre falls on April 13,2016. 8512 slots have been completed so far .We are going to celebrate the second anniversary for 7 days from 7/4/2016 to 13/4/2016.

2 Chr 30:21, 22 In this verse we see King Hezekiah celebrating 7 days feast for the Lord. For that he called all the people of Israel. They joined together and worshiped our Lord for 7 days.

2 Chron 30:21

“..For seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and priests sang to the Lord every day, accompanied by the Lord's instruments of praise”.

In the same way we are going to celebrate 7 days of special worship. In the end i.e. on 13/4/16 we join together and worship our lord. BFF trainees, troop churches, NWC regular worshipers must take part in it. Come worship our Lord as a team.

 2 Chron 30:27

“..God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place”.

In the same way those who attend and worship the Lord these days - their prayer will reach heaven. They will receive from the hands of the Master special blessing and promises. No doubt the nation is going to be shaken during our worship. Be ready and prepare for that, Slots will be allotted shortly.

• As we worship the awesome presence of god was there. The lord was literally walking up down and his awesome presence all there of us enjoyed. I never felt any tiredness during the time of two hours of worship all glory and honor to him alone
• I saw god sitting in his throne opposite to me and some angles are sitting on my right side and while we are praising god some angles are rounding us
• I feel that god is touching me in the shoulder that in my back bone something hot cold something there on my backbone

Punishment for divination

Human beings have a natural  inclination  to know about their future especially while they are in crisis. In 2 Kings  chapter 1,  we read a similar incident.   A King called  Ahazia who fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber,  sent messengers and said unto them, “Go, inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease”.

But the angel of the Lord told prophet Elijah, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them,

“Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die”.

And he died.

Ahaziah went to a fake god who has no power over his future.  The Creator of Heaven and earth only have  right over human beings and their lives. Ahaziah did not ask messengers to go to Baalzebub to save his  life from sickness, or for healing or to prolong his life because he knew it cannot do that. People approach false gods for divination. But  Lord Jesus only have the right to  give back life, to extend it, even to raise the dead to life etc. He said,

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” Rev. 1:18

No satan, enemy, magician have control over a man’s life. He will live on this earth as long as God allows him. When the Lord commands, he falls sick, gets fatal blows, and his life is taken away from this earth as we see in the case of Ahaziah.  Shall we fear this God?

The Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil. 1 Jn 3:8

“A name above every name is bestowed on Jesus that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth”. (Phil. 2:9,10)

“God has sent the spirit of His Son into our hearts”. Gal. 4:6

“The power and authority is given to us to cast out all evil spirits (Mat 10:1, Lk. 9:1)

“Whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.” (Mat. 16:19)

Let us bind and destroy the works of the devil in the name of Jesus Christ who has conquered sin, satan, curse and death on the cross.

This is the warfare night prayer of the watchmen i.e. the soldiers of the Army of Jesus to bind and destroy  the works of the devil in every one of us, our families, relatives, friends, soldiers of the Army of Jesus, Hill Horses, participants of ENHF Trainings and all the people of our country and the world.

Binding prayer e.g. No. 1. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind and destroy the works of the spirit which makes one forget the law of the Lord. (Pro  3:1)

Pro  13:5  The spirit of a wicked man  which is  loathsome and  shameful.

A Lineup of Rulers

The two part book of kings can be confusing. First there’s one nation to keep track of ,then two , then one again. In all , 39 rulers are profiled , little wonder it takes a biblical scholar to keep all the details straight.

In all the kingdom of Israel and Judah were united for 120 years and divided for just over 200 years. Then Israel disappeared and Judah lasted alone another 135 Years .After that , no independent Jewish nation existed until the 20^th century.

The timeline of the major prophets in the appropriate time period , along with the rulers of their  era. Prophets whose names appear in shaded boxes spoke to Israel; those listed against a white background spoke to Judah.

1.Introduction
 
In early 2009 I was browsing a photo album that one of my friends had posted on Facebook. One photo in particular caught my attention as she, along with a friend, were in the far north of Scotland standing in front of a war memorial in the shape of an obelisk. If you can’t picture one off the top of your head, don’t worry about it – we’ll get to it later. Suddenly it struck me how prevalent these things were. There is one in the middle of the Vatican in Rome and an identical one towering over Washington DC. As I searched my mind I remembered that I'd even seen one in a local park.
 
Why this Facebook photograph particularly piqued my interest on that day was because in late 2007 I had done a study that had shown obelisks to be connected with the worship of Baal and Asherah – the chief pagan deities of the Bible. I don't know why it took me a year to realise how prevalent they were, but I found myself asking the question: "Could it be that, in some sense, these deities haven’t ever gone away?" We hear about them so often in the Old Testament as the chief antagonists of God but they are never thought of in a modern context. Yet here we have these “Asherah poles” that God so despises all over our nation and all over the world. In significant locations too. How did they get there? What was the story behind this?
 
The investigation that I had closed in 2007 was now re-opened and I found
myself scouring websites and books that would help answer the questions that now filled my head. As I searched, I found more connections, which led to more questions. As I pursued those, still more connections were opened up. I began to see links between different eras. A picture on a grand

scale was coming into view.

A story that spanned from the beginning of time until the end; from Genesis to Revelation. The same ideas were recurring time and time again. I knew the information I was finding pieced together somehow. This couldn't just be coincidence.

There is an earnest search among the believers across the world for a real Church where a person can commune with God and relate to his fellow brethren. After trials and experiments the Indian Church is forming “Troop Church”.

The Army of Jesus was experimenting with the “Troop Church” for the past 17 years. Started in the year 1998, it has so far registered 19,676 troops . The experiment with Troop Church has been successful.

1. It has 19,676 independent first line Troop Churches. Second , third line numbers of Troop Churches are not known.
2. It has raised many leaders, pastors, prophets, counselors and other ministers and gospel workers.
3. It has no visible leader or hierarchical structure
4. It has no office, no full timer, no paid worker etc.
5. No organizational (hierarchical) set up.
6. No money collection or transaction.
7. No election, board, Committee etc.
8. Every Troop Church trains up believers in their gifts like worshipping, preaching, prophecy etc.
9. Since the mother troop disperses and starts new troops after 2 months, there is no stagnancy.
10. No pollution or corruption with money or power. 
11. 11.The two wings of Troop Church are Decentralisation and Multiplication .

Franklin Graham Says World Turmoil is Sign of Jesus’ Coming

Evangelist and prominent Christian figure Franklin Graham has stated in a recent Facebook post that “the world is unraveling,” and that this points to the fact that Jesus will one day return to make things right.

The Christian Post reports that Graham cited recent news headlines and stated, "While the United States is focused on its own politics, the world is unraveling. The danger signals are everywhere. Beheadings, rapes, murders, bombings are taking place every day across North Africa through the Middle East, all the way to the borders of India.”

Graham went on to detail the threats posed by Russia and North Korea, noting that the latter “has successfully test fired a long-range missile that has the potential of eventually reaching America with a nuclear bomb.”

Despite the dire news headlines and seemingly imminent danger, Graham assured Christians that Jesus will one day return and set things right.

"One day He is going to wipe the slate clean and 'create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind,' (Isaiah 65:17). For those who have trusted His Son Jesus Christ by faith, there is an eternal future with Him to look forward to," Graham wrote.

Graham has been an outspoken advocate for Christians who are suffering genocide in the Middle East. He has also encouraged Christians in America to vote for a candidate who supports Biblical values and principles in the 2016 election as part of his Decision America Tour.

• When I was worshipping, I felt peace in my mind. When I spoke in Tongues there were two angels. They prayed for me, and gave me a blessing. This was such a great experience.

• When I was worshipping, my mind became light. I felt my sins were gone from me. When I sang a song my body became weightless.

• This morning in my house the word of God came to me that, there will be a religious calamity in our nation especially in Tamil Nadu .It will go to the extent of bloodshed. And this God confirmed to me as I was worshipping from the audience side through verse 7 in the book of Amos chapter 3.This is a prophetic word and it will come to pass .Being cautioned let’s all go down on our knees and plead with God Almighty to be gracious on our nation.

• When I was worshipping, the Lord said I will be with you and guide you to face the people you have to face. I will instruct you and guide you. Thank you Jesus for this words.

• I experienced the glory of God, He wants us to prepare and receive his strength. I had a revelation to fast and pray for 21 days. Halleluiah!!!
