Sanctification

1Sa 16:5  And he said, Peaceably. I have come to sacrifice to Jehovah. Sanctify yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice. 

It was a custom in Israel that they sanctify themselves before they came for a sacrifice.

Rom 6:22  But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.

The result of salvation is this. We are set free from sin and become slaves of God. Paul says, the fruit itself is not sanctification but it will lead us to sanctification which will end in  eternal life.

So there is an  urgent  need  to study what is meant by Sanctification.

Let us see what New Testament says about Sanctification.

1Th 4:3  For this is the will of God, your sanctification that you abstain from sexual immorality;

Hence Sanctification is abstaining from sexual immorality. Biblical moral ethic codes are there for married, unmarried, virgins, married couples etc. It is important to know them and obey.

2Th 2:13  But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the first fruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

Here Paul says sanctification is by the Holy Spirit and through belief in the truth. So those who do not believe in Truth which is the Word of God,  will not be sanctified

1Pe_1:2  ACCORDING TO THE FOREKNOWLEDGE OF GOD THE FATHER,IN THE SANCTIFICATION OF THE SPIRIT,FOR OBEDIENCE TO JESUS CHRIST AND FOR SPRINKLING WITH HIS BLOOD: MAY GRACE AND PEACE BE MULTIPLIED TO YOU.

Without sanctification, there is no eternal life. Even though one is saved, if they do not sustain in  their calling and get sanctified every day there is all chances of losing eternal life.

Before you come to worship the Lord and offer a sacrifice to him, each one should sanctify oneself. They practised this custom in Israel.before any function or celebration,

About Sanctification Bible gives us the following clues.

It is separation to the service of God - Ps 4:3; 2 Co 6:17.

Sanctification  is effected by God. - Eze 37:28; 1 Th 5:23; Jude 1:1.

Effected by Christ. - Heb 2:11; 13:12.

Effected by The Holy Spirit. - Ro 15:16; 1 Co 6:11.

Sanctification  is in Christ - 1 Co 1:2.

Sanctification  is  through the atonement of Christ - Heb 10:10; 13:12.

It is attained through the word of God - Joh 17:17,19; Eph 5:26.

Christ is made sanctification  to us by God - 1 Co 1:30.

Saints are elected to salvation through sanctification - 2 Th 2:13; 1 Pe 1:2.

All the saints are in a state of sanctification - Acts 20:32; 26:18; 1 Co 6:11.

The Church is made glorious by sanctification - Eph 5:26,27.

Sanctification  is mortification of sin. - 1 Th 4:3,4.

Sanctification  is holiness. - Ro 6:22; Eph 5:7-9.

Offering up of saints acceptable through sanctification - Ro 15:16.

Saints fitted for the service of God by sanctification - 2 Ti 2:21.

God wills all saints to have sanctification - 1 Th 4:3.

Should pray that their people may enjoy complete. sanctification - 1 Th 5:23.

Should exhort their people to walk in  sanctification. - 1 Th 4:1,3.

None can inherit the kingdom of God without sanctification - 1 Co 6:9-11.

Sanctification Typified - Ge 2:3; Ex 13:2; 19:14; 40:9-15; Le 27:14-16

Let us thank God for sanctifying us through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.

Prayed and appealed for Srimathi Case and peace in Kanmalaikuruchi constituency and protection of school students .GOD Answered our prayer on 26 Th JULY. Tamil Nadu is arranging to provide counselling to school students.The project will be launched officially by Chief Minister M K Stalin on Wednesday.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO MAKE IT A MODEL?

  • Smla’s have to be given training to be empowered with authority in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
  • They have to be allowed to act in unique ways, but their ways have to be monitored by smps.
  • They should start troop church in their assembly constituency and start adding troop members the ward leaders.

Model-Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:17

  • Smla has to be given one department as they start seeing their problems in the department and probe into issues they have to sort out problems taking it to the heavenly court.
  • Each troop should focus on each department and control it spiritually.
  • The changes should be biblical
  • May the people see the changes and glorify the Lord!

TROOP CHURCH

Troop Church Gatherings

Dearly beloved in Christ,In the process of establishing God’s kingdom in the Nation India, the Lord is raising an Army to fight for His kingdom against satan and his kingdom. Congratulations for dedicating yourself to register your name to be the frontline warrior of The Army of Jesus. As you know,

“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”. Ephesians 6:12

I would like to remind you of your first and foremost duties of being a soldier in The Army of Jesus Christ. .

Duties of Individual Soldiers

  • Daily prayer for 2.30 hours( Time for securing protection as well as for receiving commands from the Lord)
  • Attending or Conducting weekly Troop Church
  • Proclaim the Gospel daily to at least two persons directly or through mail, phone. (Introducing Jesus to two new persons or motivating 2 believers/Christians with the manna verse for the day.
  • Start a new troop in 2 months.
  • Trans India project :

Duties of the members during Troop Church gathering

All the 10 soldiers have a role to play, each one to perform one of the following in turns:

  1. Introduction & Welcome - 1 min.
  2. Opening prayer - 2 min.
  3. Pledge (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)b- 2 min.
  4. Worship - 30 min.
  5. Message - 30 min.
  6. Prayer for Troop members & other intentions - 20 min.
  7. Sharing testimonies of last week - 20 min
  8. Planning for the next week etc. - 5 min
  9. Concluding prayer and Ps 144:1 - 2 min
  10. Preparing Report & sending - 5 min

During the time of sharing, the Troop Leader should make each one share invariably and instruct them about the duties of individual soldiers mainly their personal prayer (2:30 hours).

Sun is approaching the peak of its 11-year-long solar cycle. The solar maximum, which occurs in 2023 at the end of the Sun's 11-year cycle, is soon to arrive. The occurrence of solar storms has become more frequent recently, although their power is still relatively low. Because of this, these solar storms have not caused any harm to Earth except for producing auroras in the northern sky and briefly disrupting radio communication

A horrifying development, however, may soon change all that as the Sun nears its solar cycle peak. The number of sunspots and concomitant unstable eruptions on its surface will grow as it approaches that location. And as a result, one of the most catastrophic solar storm catastrophes to ever strike Earth is possible. And indeed, it is capable of great destruction.

The solar cycle provides an approximation of the Sun's activity. More sunspots are visible when the Sun is more active. Sunspots are black regions that can be several hundred kilometres broad and just as high as the Sun. These regions are volatile and have magnetic fields that are too strong.

These regions can explode violently, sending solar particles into space and wreaking havoc on anything in their path. There may be many detectable sunspots on the Sun during the Solar Maximum, the height of the solar cycle. On the other hand, there are hardly any sunspots during the Solar Minimum.

Sun will reach its solar cycle's solar maximum in 2023.In this time frame, when it is most unstable; this is the paint where its volatility peaks. That indicates that several sunspots are anticipated to erupt simultaneously during this time, it might cause a deadly solar storm to hit Earth.
