Fellowship meeting was conducted in the Kanyakumari constituency on 17th July 2024.

JEHOSHAPHAT DEFEATS MOAB AND AMMON

In 2 Chronicles 20:13-23 Jehoshaphat Defeats Moab and Ammon by worshipping God. All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord. Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice. Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.”After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

“Give thanks to the Lord,
for his love endures forever.”

 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

• Sr.Angelica: By the grace of the Lord, God helped the CRFC to be held successfully. Soldiers' continuous prayers were very helpful. Myself and Mother. Leema went to Uttarakhand, served in Delhi and many other places conducted BFF (in Hindi) in Thirukkazhukundram, and came to Chennai. We did not make any PHYSICAL arrangements for this conference. But when we arrived, the people in charge had made all the arrangements (venue, food) beautifully. And the Lord conducted this celebration beautifully. PRAISE THE LORD!
• Sol.Dr.Petricia: God helped me to moderate the entire celebration. The next day's 'Shadow Pari' was also a success.Glory to God!
• Sol.Mohana Sundaram: God miraculously helped me to make many arrangements as the State Coordinator and to work with other coordinators. My eyes were giving me problems for three years. I had irritation in my eyes. I was planning to go to the doctor after the 20th. But during the SHADO PARLI, during the prayer exchange, someone prayed for this problem and then the problem completely changed. A miracle happened. Glory to God!

• Sol.Moses: Praise be to the Lord who strengthened me to overcome many circumstances by his great grace and to attend the troop church.
• Sol.Sathya: While I was passing by the bus stand for work, I met an auto driver to whom the Lord made me tell the gospel. I told him about troop church also. Glory be to God.

• Sol.Tamilselvi: I used to do Bible Reading very secretly as my Husband does not like seeing me reading the Bible. But nowadays I am getting bold and want to read openly without fear. Thank God for giving me this boldness. The one-hour Morning Worship is really a blessing to me.
• Sol.Jasmine: Always blessed by attending Morning Worship and my sickness is getting healed after attending this worship.
• Sol.Chitra: After attending morning worship regularly, I can see that my spiritual hunger has increased, and growing more in Faith.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE WALKING BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

2 Corinthians 5:7 says, "We live by faith, not by sight." We want to keep our eyes on God's Word and His promises and not on what we see or how we feel.

RATHER, HE MUST BE HOSPITABLE,

ONE WHO LOVES WHAT IS GOOD,

WHO IS SELF-CONTROLLED,

UPRIGHT, HOLY AND DISCIPLINED.
