Dan 1:8 But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king's food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.

God used this boy to change the heart of King Nebuchadnezzar to accept the true God.

Dan 2:46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.

Pro 21:1 The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.

If the Lord wants to turn the heart of a king wherever He wants, he needs a person to work on earth on his behalf.

You are the one recruited by God for this purpose. You have been trained in The Army of Jesus for so many years with the same purpose.

Are you ready to surrender yourself to be used by Him?

For Daniel, the training period was three years. After that, he was brought before the king.

Dan 1:20 And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom. Therefore he stood before the king.

Heroes of the Bible sacrificed either their lives or the most precious thing in their lives to be used by God.

Heb 11:24- 27 Having become great, Moses by faith refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

What sacrifice have you made to get entry into the Throne of the Heavenly King in order to turn the hearts of the earthly king who is ruling your country, your State, your adopted country?

What have you done to make you different from others?

If you say nothing is happening in my Constituency, it is because you have not proved yourself different from others.

The Lord has seen you differently and has written your name in the book of Destiny. But since you have not stepped into the trading floor of heaven, the trade has not yet taken place. Price is not paid, and the redemption of the land (your Constituency) has not yet come.

Karur fellowship meeting was conducted on 26/05/2024 in Manapparai. Nearly 9 members participated in the meeting.

DAVID TROOP CHURCH was conducted in Thiruvarambur. Troop church was conducted in Sol. Rajkumar’s house. This troop has massively changed his life, He got his job back (Which he lost for the past 1 year) after he obeyed the Lord and joined with his wife. His family members except his father accepted troop church and baptised.Sol. Rajkumar’s mother and his sister’s son took baptism. Lord supper was served. 4 Bibles were given as gifts to this Catholic family who has accepted Jesus Christ. Troop church will be starting in his house in BHEL soon. AS HEAVY RAINS IN TELANGANA AND ANDHRA PRADESH CONTINUE WREAKING HAVOC, DEATH TOLL IN STATES CLIMBS TO 27!

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been severely impacted by torrential rains for the second consecutive day, resulting in widespread flooding, waterlogging, and significant disruption to daily life. The death toll has climbed to at least 27, with thousands being evacuated to relief camps.

The relentless downpour has claimed the lives of at least 15 people in Telangana and 12 in Andhra Pradesh as rivers in both states continued to overflow on Sunday. Rescue operations are in full swing, with national and state disaster response forces working around the clock to evacuate thousands of residents from submerged areas. These individuals have been relocated to relief camps set up across the affected regions.

The heavy rains have severely disrupted transportation networks, particularly in the railway sector. Over 100 trains have been cancelled, and several others have been diverted due to waterlogging on the South Central Railway network. This has caused significant delays and inconvenience for passengers. In response, the railway authorities have established four helpline numbers—Hyderabad (27781500), Warangal (2782751), Kazipet (27782660), and Khammam (2782885)—to assist those affected.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana of full support from the central government. He has pledged the deployment of helicopters for emergency services and relief operations in the worst-hit areas. Telangana's Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, conducted an emergency review meeting, urging officials to remain vigilant and take immediate action to provide relief to affected citizens. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, personally distributed food packets to flood victims during his second visit to the severely impacted Ajit Singh Nagar in Vijayawada.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for several districts in Telangana, including Adilabad, Nizamabad, and Sangareddy, predicting very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall on Monday. Similarly, parts of Andhra Pradesh are also expected to experience heavy rainfall until September 5, as the low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal continues to intensify. In light of the ongoing adverse weather conditions, educational institutions in rain-affected districts, including Hyderabad and Vijayawada, will remain closed on Monday.

In Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has been among the worst-hit areas, with the Budameru rivulet overflowing and flooding multiple localities. The situation has been similarly dire in Telangana, where the state government has urged residents to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary. Relief efforts are being ramped up, with additional National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams being airlifted to the affected regions to bolster ongoing operations.

As the rains continue to batter Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the situation remains critical. The combined efforts of state and national disaster management teams, along with the support of the central government, are focused on minimising casualties and providing relief to those affected. However, with more rainfall expected in the coming days, the challenges are far from over, and authorities are urging citizens to stay safe and heed official warnings.

Continuation from the previous issue…

Dear soldier, what are you burdened with today? Is it something concerned with building His Kingdom on earth? If yes, the Lord has put this burden in you. He wants to bring a solution to this problem through you. Can you surrender to the Lord right now?

Ruth: Moabites were a tribe cursed by God. (Neh 13:1, Gen 19:37,38) For generations, they were oppressed by all others and even by the people of God. The Moabites as a tribe would have prayed to God to remove the curses. But a widow called Ruth, at one time took a different decision which changed their whole destiny.

Rth 1:14-16 Then they lifted up their voices and wept again. And Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her. And she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.

This decision of Ruth changed the destiny of the Moabites. Her name was entered into the genealogy of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Mat 1:5)

Dear Soldier, you are recruited into The Army of Jesus to fight with the enemy and liberate a particular nation, a State, a village, a street, a tribe, a people group or a language group. Ruth clung to her Mother-in-law through whom the promotion had to come even with zero hope.

Daniel: was a boy of the royal family and of the nobility, a youth without any blemish, of good appearance and skilful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding, learning, and competent to stand in the king's palace. But he was taken as a captive, brought to a different land to serve a king who declared himself as God. (Dan 1:3-4, 6:12)

He took a decision to be different from others. To a young boy, any food served at the king’s palace would have been an attraction. But he decided to forget them.

PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT AND THE 1.5 DEGREE CELSIUS PACT HOLDING EARTH'S FUTURE

As we enter the ninth year since the Paris Climate Agreement, the world has set a new record with the highest temperatures ever documented, as global warmth surpasses the 1.5°C threshold.

On this day in 2016, the US and China, together responsible for 40% of the world's carbon emissions, formally ratified the Paris Global Climate Agreement. However, the year 2024 stands as the hottest on record, with relentless heatwaves sweeping across the planet.

Cities like New Delhi have endured blistering highs exceeding 50°C, while India's once snow-capped peaks, including Om Parvat, now stand bare, their icy blankets vanished for the first time.

This stark shift highlights the urgent necessity to uphold climate goals and prevent the most severe consequences of our warming world.

THE PARIS AGREEMENT: A PACT TO TEMPER THE EARTH

In December 2015, the world made a solemn vow in the heart of Paris, uniting in a historic commitment to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. This pact, embraced by 193 nations and the EU, aims to confine the temperature rise, striving to keep it well below 2°C.

It envisions a future where human emissions are harmonised with the earth’s ability to absorb them, reaching net-zero between 2050 and 2100. Nations are called to elevate their ambitions every five years, with the 1.5°C target serving as a guiding star over two decades, not just a fleeting year.

Scientists warn that even a modest 0.1°C increase brings heightened peril, ushering in more intense heatwaves, storms, and wildfires.

The 1.5°C limit was chosen to avert a cascade of severe impacts, with conditions worsening as we inch closer to 2°C of warming. At 2°C, the world could face 4°C hotter days at mid-latitudes, a 0.1-meter rise in sea levels, affecting 10 million more souls, and the near-total loss of coral reefs, compared to a 70-90% loss at 1.5°C.

The call to keep warming within the 1.5°C boundary has never been more urgent, echoing through the corridors of time.

Each soldier of The Army of Jesus is called to do great exploits for the Lord Jesus Christ while we are living on this earth.

All the Bible characters were ordinary people who lived among the ordinary people who worked hard to make both ends meet. But at one point in their lives, they differentiated themselves from others by making crucial decisions. This was due to the calling and anointing poured upon them even before the foundation of the world. They cooperated with the grace to fulfil what was written in their books of destiny.

Let us take a few examples.

Moses. Who led a casual life enjoying all the privileges of a prince in the palace of the Egyptians. Pharaoh was moved in his heart when he saw an Egyptian beating an Israelite. He struck down the Egyptian and hid his body in the sand. This action changed his whole life. The Lord took this as a proof of his fidelity towards His people and recruited him into His Army to fight against His enemies. Moses was sent for further training in the land of Midian.

Seeing the Egyptians beating the Israelites would not have attracted anybody’s attention since in slavery these are very common incidents one would have body dared to speak for the Israelites. Supporting a Hebrew would even put their life at risk. But this single incident provoked Moses into action.

The Lord needs a soldier to fight for the cause of the oppressed in the Churches which is the worst system of slavery held in the world in the name of Jesus.

Nehemiah: An ordinary man who was employed with a menial job of serving at the king’s table enquired about the Jews who escaped, who had survived the exile, and about Jerusalem. And they said to him, “The remnant there in the province who had survived the exile is in great trouble and shame. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are destroyed by fire. As soon as he heard this, he

“sat down and wept and mourned for days, and continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven.”

The Lord saw the burden in His heart for the broken walls of Jerusalem. He recruited him into His Army to fight against the enemies (Neh 2:19), disclosed His plans to him, alerted him how strategically and secretly he should move, get the support of the king, people and rulers so that he could complete the work of repairing the walls of Jerusalem within the prescribed time.

In Nehemiah’s time, there would have been many who heard about the destruction of Jerusalem walls, but nobody was bothered about it except Nehemiah. The Lord used him to bring a solution to the problem.

THANK GOD FOR THE COVERING AND PROTECTION OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS

In Exodus chapter 12 the Lord instructed the Israelites to take hyssop and apply the blood of the Passover Iamb to the doorframes of their homes for protection from the plague. Hyssop is symbolic of faith. It is by faith through repentance and confession that we apply the blood of Jesus to our lives today.

We read in Revelation 12: 11 that the believers overcame the accuser of the brethren "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." We overcome him in the same way.

WAYANAD LANDSLIDES: WHEN NATURE REWROTE THE MAP

The devastating landslides that wiped out two villages show that climate change is here to stay and the need for adaptation is clear and present.

“This was Mundakkai,” murmurs a rescue volunteer, pointing towards his right. From where we stand, atop a destroyed house, the view is frightening. A huge expanse of land lies in front of a tall mountain, the earth raw and wounded, like a vast, long scar. The soil is a muddy palette—ochre, russet, and umber mashed up by nature’s rough hand. The terrain is chaos itself—churned and pitted, studded with rocks torn from sleep. Ripped open, the land’s guts spilling over for all to see, and a newly enlarged river gleaming like fresh gashes as a bunch of excavators claw deep, leaving grooves and furrows that snake across the site.

This is Mundakkai, a small, serene village in Kerala’s Wayanad district that, along with the nearby villages of Punjirimattom, Chooralmala, and Attamala, was ravaged by three consecutive landslides in the wee hours of July 30, 2024. Heavy rains triggered the landslides whose source was later discovered to be at Punjirimattam. In the 48 hours leading up to the morning of July 30, the Mundakkai region saw a staggering 572 mm of rainfall. Hillsides collapsed as a result, sending a torrent of mud, water, and boulders crashing down. The debris flowed into the affected areas below the mountains, which lay as much as 5-6 km away from the source of the landslide. At least 250 people died in the natural calamity. Unofficial estimates put the death toll at over 400 as there were more than a hundred people yet to be found and several body parts yet to be identified when this writer visited the site.

Kerala woke up to a panic-hit morning on July 30 as news channels started airing shocking stories of hundreds of people trapped in the mud and even more missing or already presumed dead. Mundakkai was isolated for hours as the sole bridge that connected the village to nearby Chooralmala and the rest of the world was destroyed in the landslide that had set off a fresh, furious river stream. The “new” river of debris gobbled up everything that stood in its way, including the Vellarmala Government Vocational Higher Secondary School (GVHSS) in Chooralmala.

It was a frantic SOS call from Neethu Jojo, an executive at the Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences (WIMS) in Meppadi, that first alerted the authorities of the massive landslide around 1:30 am. “Our houses are flooded. There has been a landslide. We won’t survive if another one breaks. Please save us,” Neethu could be heard pleading with WIMS personnel in a widely televised audio clip that went viral following the disaster.

Rescue workers recovered Neethu’s dead body on August 3. By then the astonishing magnitude of the catastrophe, one of Kerala’s largest and most impactful natural calamities, had unravelled through media reports, social media posts, and the urgent testimonies of survivors.

Vellarmala GVHSS alone lost 32 students. The teachers said 22 bodies were recovered and 10 were still missing. “We are yet to come to terms with the shock. This was a beautiful school, and a peaceful village populated with such lovely people and their children. One night of natural fury wiped out all the happiness we had amassed over the years,” Unnikrishnan, the school’s headmaster, told Frontline. “I don’t know how I will face my children when they ask about their friends.”

God has turned him against you because He cannot tolerate your drifting away from Him because of that person. God cannot allow you to lose your destiny because of that person.

It could be your son, daughter, wife, husband, mother, father, relative, employee, etc. who is very close to you.

The purpose of God in giving us any gift (husband, wife, father, mother, children, companion, friends, relatives etc is to build His kingdom on earth.

Jer 2:2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, So says Jehovah, I remember you, the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothals, when you went after Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

Jer 2:3 Israel was holiness to Jehovah and the first fruits of His increase, says Jehovah.

But when they were brought to the land and enjoyed all its fruits, they forgot Him and became unfaithful.

The Lord even passes judgment against His people who went away from Him.

When we take the history of the Church, there were great kings who ruled over the Christian Kingdoms. Right from the time the Church was established as a royal religion in Rome, till today satan raised many kings who wanted to rule over the people of God like the kings of the world.

Jesus rightly said about them,

Luk 22:25 And He said to them, The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them. And they who exercise authority on them are called benefactors.

They are called benefactors.

This kind of lordship started from Nimrod.

But Jesus brought another kind of leadership into this world. An entirely opposite kind of leadership.

Luk 22:26 But you shall not be so: but the greater among you, let him be as the lesser, and he who governs, as one who serves.

Jesus practised it and became a model for it.

Jesus never had any assistant, helper, peon, or clerk in his ministry.

He just called 12 people to follow Him. They did. But they were all in human thinking, unfit, disqualified in every way to be the founders of the biggest organization which the world has ever seen.

But by ministering to them and serving them until the last breath, Jesus made them great leaders, and also, made them competent to hold their portfolio.

He never kept anyone of them as His own. He never claimed ownership over them. Rather He was willing to send them to the world. This was His prayer;

John 17:9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

He sent them to the world; to preach whatever they have heard from their Master, whatever they have seen in their Master and to execute whatever they have been entrusted with.

Let us make Jesus our only model for our ministry. Let us not keep anyone under us or with us permanently. Any soldier at any time should be free to go to any place as per the will of God.

Army of Jesus has helped me to compose a new song for God. The classes about ages and dry bones were new to me. I raised many questions and the teachers answered patiently. Thank God.

Sol.Angelica: I visited IWC on 19.07.2024 around noon. A family from Gujarat wanted to start a worship Center in their place. I took them to IWC for a visit and explained to them about how it works. I briefly talked about the Lord's plan. Later they participated in the meeting there. The Lord revealed that the presence of God is carried to all places, just as the seeds of Bombax ceiba(cotton). It was said that the gospel would be taken not only to India but also to the countries of the world.

REPENTANCE

Repentance is the door to freedom. With every stronghold, there is a lie of the enemy. We want to ask God to forgive us. We also want to ask God's forgiveness for any unconfessed sin, and we want to renounce all involvement. counterfeit spiritual activities. Proverbs 28: 13 says, "He who conceals his sins does not prosper, and renounces them finds mercy."

but whoever confesses We are promised in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

Just as Daniel prayed prayers of repentance for the sins of his people, when they were living in captivity in Babylon (Daniel 9: 1-19), we can intercede on behalf of our families to see family strongholds tom down.

When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. MONSOON FURY: FOUR DEAD, 49 MISSING AS MULTIPLE CLOUDBURSTS, FLASH FLOODS HIT HIMACHAL PRADESH

At least four people died and around 49 were missing following multiple cloudburst incidents in Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla, Mandi, and Kullu districts during the past 24 hours, following torrential overnight rains that have left the State rivers in a spate.

According to the State’s Emergency Operation Center, so far four people have died while one was injured and around nine people were stranded at different places following incessant rains in different parts of the State. The incidents of cloud bursts, and flash floods amid heavy rains have badly hit normal life across the State, resulting in loss of lives and property.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who convened a meeting with government officers to take stock of the situation in Shimla, said, “Search and rescue operations were underway, and all resources have been pressed into action. We have sought help from the Army and Air Force. The State has suffered a huge loss.”

“There’s a possibility of heavy rains based on weather department forecast during the next 36 hours (Friday morning). I appeal to people to stay away from rivers and rivulets that are in spate right now,” added Mr. Sukhu.

In Shimla district’s Samesh village, near a hydro project Jhakri in Rampur around 33 people have gone missing after cloudburst led to a flash flood, which occurred in the wee hours of Thursday. Similarly, around seven persons went missing and three died following a cloudburst near Tikkan Thalukot village in Mandi district. Another incident of cloudburst occurred at village Jaon in Kullu district, where one person was killed and nine people went missing, while eleven houses were washed away by gushing water besides causing damage to two bridges. The incidents of cloud bursts occurred in the higher mountain reaches, resulting in a rise in the water level in Pin Parvati River. Additonally, a flash flood was reported at Malana village in Kullu. Nine persons were stranded near village Charuru in Kullu as water in River Beas swelled.

The State has witnessed the loss of several human and cattle lives, following the torrential rains that have triggered cloud bursts and flash floods. Vehicular traffic was disrupted as number of roads have been blocked due to landslips and debris. The rains have resulted in damaging several roads including national-State highways, bridges, running down vehicles, residential and commercial buildings, and causing losses worth crores of rupees.

“Five roads, one national highway had also been blocked and three bridges got damaged during the last 12 hours due to cloud burst and heavy rains,” said Mr. Sukhu.

National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, State Police, Home Guard and fire service teams and administration officials have been deployed for search and rescue operations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been closely monitoring the situation in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in the wake of heavy rains and a cloudburst. He has asked top officials to ensure all possible assistance is provided to the affected, sources said. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and took stock of the situation arising due to the cloudburst in the State, and assured him of all help from the Centre.

Our human nature is corrupt to such an extent that the human inclination for power and popularity kept the Church of Jesus Christ in darkness for 1700 years. It could easily swallow up the results of the Reformation brought by Martin Luther in 1500 A.D.

Is there any “Isaac” in my life because of whom I might be put to test like Abraham?
Who is the closest person in my life?
Is he/she a help or hindrance in my life to serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my spirit and with all my strength?
If it is the will of God to take that person away from my life, what will be my immediate response and reaction?
Will I still serve the Lord with the same fervour as I am doing now?
Do I keep myself free from the 3 weapons of satan, pride,influence of money, and attachment to people or places? (the world)
Can I pray wholeheartedly the prayer of the Psalmist “Turn away my eyes from seeing vanity” Psa 119:37

If anything or anyone deprives you of your 100% trust in God, the Lord in his jealousy might even take it away from your life. Or the Lord might even turn him as the number 1 enemy to you. We might even come to the wrong conclusion that

“This fellow cheated me. I trusted him. But he was not faithful”.

But it is not that fellow but, God who is against you.

Sol.Esther (Dindigul): Good new lessons were taught. New ideas and deep insights were observed. The teaching about forgiving others was helpful. The Ten Commandments were taught. I always had a question "Will God speak to me?".Through these classes, God answered all my questions.

In 1940 a professor at a Bible college took his students to the house where John Wesley lived. He showed them every room. When he went to his bed chamber, where he knelt and prayed, the carpet was worn out. He pointed to the spot and pointed out that this was the spot where John Wesley knelt and prayed. When they boarded the bus, a student was missing. So when he went back up the stairs of the house. The boy knelt in the same spot where John Wesley had prayed and cried out, "Lord do it again." He was the man who filled the American nation with the word of God and brought blessings(Billy Graham).

There is a wonderful example in the scripture, Jacob is going to meet Esau after 20 years, who separated with enmity. He fought with God alone. My son is in the USA. He bought a house eight months ago. The house they were staying in, was rented through an agency. The family who came to rent my son’s house paid three months' rent in advance. After that, they stayed for another three months without paying the rent. Then one day the neighbour phoned my son and asked: “Did you hire new people? 4-5 men are in your house”. They have tattoos all over their body. People above 6 are looking like thugs. Just seeing them brings fear. He said you should come and see. My son said that we did not rent to anyone like that, and immediately went and looked. My son saw them and told them that he was the owner of that house. He inquired about this to an Advocate and filed a case. After this he informed me. I prayed fervently to the Lord. Lord! Do a miracle for me and send your messengers with drawn swords to chase them so they will drive in fear. I prayed that within 24 hours you would make the steps to run. The Lord heard the prayer. Those men fought with each other and the neighbor called the police. It went on like that for two days. At midnight on the third day, they ran away without anyone knowing. It was said by my son's neighbors. My son told the advocate, he called the police and they came and knocked on the door. The doors were locked from the inside. After a long time, a woman came out with a small child in her arms and shouted when she saw the police. Then a man came out from inside. The police saw them and told them to vacate immediately, they asked for time, and the police gave them 24 hours and threatened them not to come again. They left that night. The next day when the police came, none of them were there, so the Lord did a great miracle for us. Those who believe in the Lord are never ashamed. May the name of the Lord be glorified

LAWMAKER WARNS OF CHINESE COMMUNISTS CHANGING THE BIBLE

The chairman of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party warned on Thursday of efforts from the Chinese government to subvert Christianity by changing parts of the Bible.

“The Chinese Communist Party is rewriting the Bible,” Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisconsin, said in a pre-recorded message to the biannual gathering of the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago held Aug. 14 through Aug. 18.

Gallagher discussed two examples in which the Chinese government has rewritten parts of the Bible and taught it as fact. In one example, he noted a misrepresentation of the account in the Gospel of John in which Christ says, “Let he among you without sin cast the first stone” when a woman is accused of adultery.

“It’s a beautiful story of forgiveness and mercy — unless, of course, you’re a CCP official,” Gallagher said. “Then it’s a story of a dissident challenging the authority of the state. A possible sneak preview of what a Bible with socialist characteristics might look like appeared in a Chinese university textbook in 2020. The rewritten Gospel of John excerpt ends not with mercy but with Jesus himself stoning the adulterous woman to death.”

As the Union of Catholic Asian News reported in September 2020, a textbook published by the CCP-run University of Electronic Science and Technology Press falsely asserted that the story ends with Christ stoning the woman to death, declaring himself to be a sinner and saying “if the law could only be executed by men without blemish, the law would be dead.”

In another example, Gallagher said that local CCP officials in the Henan province of China forced churches to replace displays of the Ten Commandments with quotes from President Xi Jinping.

“Quotes like ‘thou shalt have no other gods before me,’ became diktats like ‘resolutely guard against the infiltration of Western ideology,’” Gallagher noted. “... Xi Jinping has no problem with the First Commandment just so long as he and the CCP are playing the role of God.”

The Holy See entered into a two-year provisional deal with China in 2018, which was renewed in 2020 and 2022. However, some Vatican officials have warned that the deal does not ensure enough religious freedoms for Catholics. In April, a bishop was appointed to Shanghai without Vatican approval, but Pope Francis eventually approved the appointment in July.

Gallagher noted that the CCP only legally recognizes five faiths but that less established religions face even more persecution than the legally recognized ones. For example, he noted that “at times, half of the population of China’s reeducation through labor camps, or modern gulags, were Falun Gong adherents, and thousands were reportedly tortured to death.” He also referenced the persecution of “Buddhists and Muslims in the far west of the country [who] are facing, quite simply, the attempted annihilation of their faith and in some cases their population.”

**To Him who struck great kings; for His mercy endures forever; and killed famous kings; for His mercy endures forever:**

Psa 136:17-18

We all know in the history of Israel how the sovereign Lord brought all the kings who had occupied the land of Canaan under divine judgment, destroyed them and gave this land to His chosen People, the Israelites. In Psalm 136, King David recollects all that the Lord did for Israel and invokes the current generation to praise and thank the Lord for His mercies.

The Lord had given a warning that the Church in India and the Church in the whole world is going to enter into a new era. In this new era ( from 2007) a prophetic generation will emerge. They will bring a new anointing – the new wine. This new wine was to be collected in new wineskins. The old wineskins (old hierarchical structure) could not hold the new wine. If they tried, they would burst and the wine would spill.

Among the reputed Christian leaders, who are living today, some are found to be fallen from grace.

They are not responsible for this fall. But the system they are in made them fall.

The system which the institutional Church follows is the worst kind of dictatorship in the world. It keeps one person at the centre of everything.

In history, this system started with Nimrod in Genesis chapter 10.

This system wrongly teaches that the leader of a Church is a king in charge of his kingdom.

They are the “Anointed dictators” in this kingdom.

The leaders have mesmerised their believers to believe wrong things and made them customers in their kingdom.

Only those who have come out of this system can gaze at this from a far and realise the depth of this fallacy.

The Lord has brought us out of this dangerous trap. But we should be careful not to fall into such a trap again.

Every soldier should be made to depend only on God in whom he/she should put all his trust.

BFF was conducted in Greater Noida, U.P.

Sol.Rahul: I suffered a lot from kidney stones and typhoid fever. I felt healed when I participated in BFF classes. I took a lot of pills. I stopped them after this training. The Lord gave me wonderful comfort. Glory to God!
Sol.Chitra: When I brush my teeth, I usually take some narcotic pills. They told me to give all the pills to them on the first day of training. The first two days were difficult for me. These unwanted pills are usually taken 4-5 times a day. I believe in Jesus' name I get delivered from that evil habit now. Glory to God!

“THUS ALSO FAITH BY ITSELF, IF IT DOES NOT HAVE WORKS, IS DEAD”.

As believers of Christ, demonstrating faith becomes obligatory. It just doesn’t end with believing God, for even the demons believe God and tremble. From Abraham, the father of faith to Rahab. Everyone is justified by faith in God manifesting It in deeds. The Vision given about the future of India clearly stated that “In future only marketplace evangelism” should be taught and insisted upon. All the other methods of preaching the gospel and witnessing Christ do not bear much fruit.

Student fellowship meeting was held on 16/06/2024 in July. 4 Soldiers participated in it. A few members attended on Zoom. God has abundantly blessed the soldiers who obey God's word. Sister Angelica gave the divine message. In John: 12.24 a year of wheat remains alone unless it falls to the ground and dies. If it is seeded it will give great results. Likewise, if a servant, suffering much in this world, lives like a dead seed, he will spring up again and be transformed into a new man conformable to Christ. We are all Christian believers. To die in Christ and become a new creature, they said. We thank God for this gift. On 14/07/2024 student fellowship meeting was conducted. Likewise, it would be continued for a few months.

TESTIMONY

I accepted Jesus and lived as his believer. My wife and mother also accepted Jesus. But Dad was still not saved. In June, my father went to work and was engaged in the demolition of an old building. Then the nearby wall collapsed and fell on him. Those who worked with him immediately got rid of it with difficulty. They rescued my father and admitted him to the hospital for treatment. By the grace of God, my father survived without any harm. This is a great miracle! The Lord has protected those who believed in him. Glory to God! Many have prayed for the salvation of my father in the troop church. After this incident, my father accepted Jesus and was ready for baptism. Amen.

PAUL SHIPWRECKED ON MALTA

Acts 28:1-10 Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta.The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold. Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand.When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.” But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects. The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead; but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.

There was an estate nearby that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us to his home and showed us generous hospitality for three days. His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him. When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured.They honored us in many ways; and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed.

CLIMATE CHANGE FUELLED EXTREME HEAT THAT KILLED HUNDREDS OF HAJ PILGRIMS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Climate change intensified the deadly heatwave that claimed the lives of at least 550 Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, making it 2.5 degrees Celsius warmer, according to a rapid analysis by an independent group of climate scientists and researchers.

Natural variability likely played a minor role, they said.

Large parts of the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East have endured extreme temperatures over the past few weeks. Media reports said that at least 550 pilgrims died during the annual Haj pilgrimage, which began on Friday, with temperatures at Mecca's Grand Mosque reaching a scorching 51.8 degrees Celsius.

According to the reports, the deceased included 323 Egyptians, 98 Indians, 60 Jordanians, and five Iranians.

The analysts at ClimaMeter, an EU-funded initiative, described it as a "very uncommon" event.

"We ascribe the extreme temperatures of the Saudi Arabia heatwave to human-driven climate change, with natural climate variability likely playing a minor role," they said.

This year, over 1.8 million Muslim pilgrims were expected to arrive, according to the Saudi General Authority for Statistics.

Saudi Arabia's health ministry has attributed the fatalities to pre-existing conditions and the vulnerable health of the pilgrims.

Scientists from ClimaMeter, who conduct rapid analyses on the role of climate change in extreme weather events using satellite observations, concluded that heatwaves such as the one in Saudi Arabia are up to 2.5 degrees Celsius warmer today than at the turn of the century.

Davide Faranda, a ClimaMeter researcher at CNRS, France, said: "ClimaMeter's report highlights that the deadly heat during this year's Hajj is directly linked to fossil fuel burning and has affected the most vulnerable pilgrims." "Immediate action is imperative to safeguard the health and safety of Middle East citizens and pilgrims. Only reducing fossil fuel combustion can prevent reaching critical temperature thresholds and avoid transforming these significant religious events into recurrent tragedies," he added.

Tommaso Alberti, a ClimaMeter researcher from Italy, said: "The analysis indicates that natural climate variability is highly unlikely to be the main cause of the Saudi Arabian heatwave, which was up to 2.5 degrees Celsius warmer than the warmest heatwaves previously observed in the region." "It is crucial to prepare for the growing intensity and frequency of such events. This calls for urgent actions to protect public health, particularly in historic and densely populated religious areas of Middle Eastern cities," he said.

With the Earth's global surface temperature already 1.15 degrees Celsius above the average in 1850-1900, climate scientists say countries need to take urgent action to reduce heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions by at least 43 percent by 2030 (compared to 2019 levels) to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

Developing nations argue they cannot be expected to reduce CO2 emissions faster if developed countries -- historically responsible for climate change -- do not provide enhanced financial support.

Climate finance will be at the centre of the UN climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the world will reach the deadline to agree on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG) -- the new amount developed nations must mobilize every year starting in 2025 to support climate action in developing countries.

Rich countries are expected to raise more than USD 100 billion, with developing countries demanding trillions of dollars to tackle climate change.

MARCH FORWARD

Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

But it is possible that while you are engaged in war with your enemy, since you cannot win, cunningly he will loot you, your faith, your wealth, your family, children or contacts who are weak in faith.

We get enough examples from the Bible for this.

David: 1Sam 30:3 And David and his men came to the city, and behold, it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captives.
Peter . Mat 26:74 Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man. And immediately the cock crowed.

What should we do in such cases? When such temptations come in our lives, how should we behave?

Our physical life is as important as our spiritual life. We should live a life acceptable to both God and men.

Joseph, David and Moses were proved faithful. Job and Noah were certified by God as ”perfect”.

We are placed to live in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation and generation. We are placed there to shine as stars.

Php 2:15 so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world.

This is David’s response to God when he was placed in such situations.

Psa 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way.

Psa 101:6 My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, so that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve Me (the Lord)

King David searched for those who were faithful in the land . He absorbed them into the Administration of the land.

If we also search for such people we will find out many faithful men in the land .

They might belong to any caste, community or religion. It might be a Government servant, a Collector, a doctor, a peon, a street cleaner, a house keeper, an attendant, a teacher, lawyer, tea seller, vendor, an IT worker, driver, a businessman, an MLA, M.P. etc.

Psa 34:15 The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

They may belong to other religions than Christianity; It is our duty to introduce Jesus to them.

They should be your target persons of Troop Churches (the two persons for sending messages daily)

Psa 15:4 in whose eyes the reprobate is despised, but he honors those who fear Jehovah; he has sworn to his hurt, and does not change it.

Can you think of two such persons in your Constituency?

Write down their names . Make them target persons for your new Troop Church.

Pray for them. Worship the Lord with sacrifices in your hand. Be ready to worship the Lord with the heart to sacrifice something costly for you. Bring the costliest sacrifice before Jehovah for these people’s sake; so that they should come to the Lord; that they may know Jesus Christ.

I was saved first and then the Lord by His grace saved my three children. My daughter lives in America.She was married and had no child. I told her that she should be baptized and the Lord will bless you with a child. She had PCOD problem.After that my daughter was baptized in America. I pray daily in my personal prayer for my daughter and some in the Army of Jesus.The Lord answered me through a dream. At the door of my neighbor I saw a small banana tree with two leaves and a small red banana.Then I secretly inquired from some people who were not able to bear children.But I didn’t get any clarity.I continued to pray. Exactly one week later my daughter called me and told me she was pregnant.I thanked Jesus. My daughter and my family believed that this child is from Jesus. To Jesus be the glory.

On 6^th July 2024, Fellowship cum Certificate distribution meeting was held in north Chennai constituency, around 25 students received course certificate in the field of nursing, computer, Lab, Pharmacy, Dental, Agriculture from Mother Leema Rose, most of the students are trained in Troop Church and Bff.

The event went on well, the event was a prophecy fulfilment. God’s presence was there, throughout the event. Next set of students will receive the course certificate within two months. The event was an outcome of Project 100 implementation to empower students with spiritual and skill training.

COUNTERFEIT SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES

It is important for us to ask the Lord to reveal to us any involvement we have had in occult practices or false religions. There may have been some counterfeit experiences that we have been involved in that we were not aware were counterfeits.

A counterfeit is an imitation of something genuine with the intention to deceive. Satan loves to imitate the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to deceive us and hold us in bondage. He has a counterfeit experience for every gift of the Spirit.

Anytime we seek power, supernatural knowledge e or peace through a source that is not the Holy Spirit we are opening ourselves up to a counterfeit. Scripture tells us in Ephesians. 2:14, "He himself (Jesus) is our peace..., and we are told in John 16:13, "When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth.comes, receive power when the Ho Holy Spirit comes on you... Jesus also told us, "You will (Acts 1:8).

The Spirit of God will counsel us, comfort us and empower us. Through the power of the Spirit, we will find peace, comfort, direction, freedom and victory..

Even though there are many methods and strategies that the world feels will offer help for the struggles and bondage in our life, there is only one way that will bring true freedom and true release, God's way is the only way that will work.

We want to learn to recognize every lie and every trap of the enemy, so that we can walk in the freedom and victory Jesus came to give us. He told us in John 8:31-32: "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

PHILIP AND OTHER DISCIPLES HOUSE PAUL ON HIS JOURNEY

Acts 21 After we had torn ourselves away from them, we put out to sea and sailed straight to Kos. The next day we went to Rhodes and from there to Patara.We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, went on board and set sail.After sighting Cyprus and passing to the south of it, we sailed on to Syria. We landed at Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo.We sought out the disciples there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.When it was time to leave, we left and continued on our way. All of them, including wives and children, accompanied us out of the city, and there on the beach we knelt to pray.After saying goodbye to each other, we went aboard the ship, and they returned home.We continued our voyage from Tyre and landed at Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and sisters and stayed with them for a day.Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea and stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the Seven.He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied.After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. ¹¹Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”(They had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple.)The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul, they dragged him from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut.While they were trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops that the whole city of Jerusalem was in an uproar.He at once took some officers and soldiers and ran down to the crowd. When the rioters saw the commander and his soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. Then he asked who he was and what he had done.Some in the crowd shouted one thing and some another, and since the commander could not get at the truth because of the uproar, he ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks.When Paul reached the steps, the violence of the mob was so great he had to be carried by the soldiers.The crowd that followed kept shouting, “Get rid of him!”Paul Speaks to the Crowd As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the barracks, he asked the commander, “May I say something to you?”“Do you speak Greek?” he replied.“Aren’t you the Egyptian who started a revolt and led four thousand terrorists out into the wilderness some time ago?”Paul answered, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no ordinary city. FAMINE LOOMING OVER MILLIONS IN SUDAN IS A STARK WARNING TO THE WORLD TO ACT NOW TO AVERT HUNGER-RELATED CHILD MORTALITY

Sudan has reached a tipping point where hundreds of thousands of children are experiencing hunger and malnutrition. Hunger and food insecurity have life detrimental long-term effects on children’s physical and cognitive development. During food shortages, children’s access to education is also cut short and this exacerbates serious protection concerns, especially for girls, pushing them into situations of hazardous work, early marriage, or sexual exploitation and abuse.

As per the latest Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) snapshot, Sudan is facing the worst recorded levels of acute food insecurity. The report reveals an increase from 17.7 million in March to 25.6 million are likely to face high levels of acute food insecurity (IPC 3 and above). 8.5 million people are likely to experience IPC 4 levels of extreme food shortages which is a 74% increase from the previous IPC update. At the IPC 5 catastrophe-level, starvation, death, destitution, and extremely critical acute malnutrition levels are seen. At these levels, over 1,000 people per day are at risk of death. According to UNICEF, over 700,000 children under-5 are at risk of dying. Sudan is on the brink of famine.

More children are displaced in Sudan than anywhere else in the world. Since the conflict broke out in April 2023, an additional 7 million people have been displaced within Sudan, bringing the estimated number of internally displaced persons in Sudan to over 10 million.The ongoing conflict has put children at risk, forcing them and their families to flee from conflict and making their future uncertain.

“When I get back home, I may not find anything to eat. This is frustrating me. I pray that the conflict ends soon so that we can live in peace and get back to school. I have dreams of becoming a doctor someday. We ask aid agencies to support us,” 15-year-old Amani, who has been displaced due to ongoing hostilities.

The last time famine was declared in East Africa was in South Sudan in 2017, and before that, Somalia in 2011. In those cases, hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and children have suffered long-term impacts from malnutrition and loss of agriculture outputs. The situation in Sudan is similarly grim. The conflict between parties in Sudan is driving a hunger crisis dangerously approaching famine and is impacting millions of people.

The country has also been affected by climate change and below-average precipitation for the third season in a row. The ongoing conflict coupled with climate-induced weather conditions has further made the situation worse and impossible to grow or plant anything. There is no harvest.

"It is truly heartbreaking to see food scarcity and deprivation on the rise. We have a looming catastrophic situation that is quickly approaching. The majority of families are feeling helpless and they are desperate with nothing to feed their families,” said John Makoni, Interim National Director for World Vision Sudan.

Growing food insecurity in East Africa has seen World Vision respond to the impact of hunger in seven countries across the region since April 2021, including Sudan. World Vision is in-country providing much-needed life-saving relief assistance. Through our Sudan Crisis and Migration Response, World Vision has reached nearly 1.8 million people including children, in Sudan alone, with life-saving relief assistance including food assistance, WASH (Water, Health and Sanitation) and protection services, and multi-purpose cash assistance that provides affected people with the choice, control and flexibility to buy what they need.

“This is the worst hunger crisis that has ever been recorded in Sudan. The biggest challenge aid agencies are facing is humanitarian access. We need unhindered access to reach the people most in need with life-saving assistance. Any further delays can be catastrophic and will result in deaths. It is evident the most vulnerable children and their families are bearing the brunt of the conflict," concluded Makoni.

World Vision is committed to addressing the increasing food insecurity crisis in Sudan so that children and their families affected by the ongoing conflict have access to nutritious food for their well-being and development. The international community and parties to the conflict must take immediate action to prevent a catastrophic malnutrition emergency.

World Vision is also calling for aid agencies’ humanitarian imperative to be fully respected and given unhindered access to those in need.

FAITHFULNESS

Jesus was faithful over His own house as a Son

Let us see how Jesus was faithful in the house given to Him.

Jesus was sent to the Jews; to be one among God’s own children. But they did not accept Him and treated Him as a stranger and even as an enemy. (John 1: 11, Joh 3:32; Isa 53:2-3; Luk 19:14, Luk 20:13-15; Act 7:51-52
But He remained faithful to His Father, the one who sent Him. Heb 2:17; Joh 6:38-40, Joh 7:18, Joh 8:29, Joh 15:10, Joh 17:4
So the Father gave Him authority over all the Earth; Now all the earth and heaven should bow down to His name Jesus. Jesus became the owner of the house, that is the whole earth. Mat24:45; Luk 12:36-40; Act_20:29-31. Father made Jesus owner of His whole house, the earth and all its inhabitants
He in turn handed over this authority to us before He left the earth and made us ambassadors, door keepers, watchmen who are in charge of His house. Mat 16:19; Joh 10:3; Rev 3:7

How can we be faithful in the whole house entrusted to us?

First of all let’s define our house.

What is our house?

First be true to your family; Be responsible for your own family. The immediate family, husband, wife, children
Then the extended family. In-laws, duties towards them.
Siblings, relatives, people in your surroundings and contacts.
The responsibility entrusted to you – The Constituency, Zone, State Region or Nation.

The Lord has chosen us for His ministry and has given us assurance

Sol.Shanthini: The Lord gave me a vision when everyone was gathered together for worship. An angel with great wings which covered the people sitting on both sides covered.Each wing was about 10 feet long. I saw it covered on both sides with such huge wings. Then I saw that the Lord poured anointing on each person's head with a small kettle-like vessel. I saw that hand over everyone's head and the anointing oil was poured over their heads at the same time.I saw it overflowing on everyone's head and soaking their clothes. Then a question arose in my mind. Why not the same anointing given for everyone? I thought why separate anointing. Immediately the Lord gave an answer in my mind. He said that his anointing is given according to his calling. That hand came in all the heads at the same time.After pouring I saw that everything disappeared at once. The Lord kept everyone present in that shadow parliament as if the Most High kept him in secret. Decorated with the spirit of a mind. Blessed everyone and continued poured out a special anointing for each one to do service of God.

WRONG DOCTRINES

There may have been times when we have accepted teaching that sounds good and seems accurate, but in reality, it is not true according to the Scripture. We need to stay very sensitive to the Word and to the leadership of the Holy Spirit to reveal error to us, and we need to be willing to change if we are wrong in our theology in any area.

Paul warns us in Colossians 2:8 saying: "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

A good way to gage whether or not doctrine is accurate, is to look at the fruit it produces. Is it producing freedom or bondage? Jesus came to set us free. When we are walking in truth, we will see the fruit of "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control," (Gal. 5:21-23) being produced in our lives.

VIOLENCE IN MYANMAR DESTROYS ENTIRE CHRISTIAN VILLAGE

It’s been more than three years since a military coup in Myanmar put a military council in charge of the country. It’s led to massive violence across the country as the military and rebel groups battle for control—and often, Christians are caught in the middle, and sometimes even directly targeted by military forces.
Since the coup, Christians have encountered greater violence and tighter restrictions. Believers have been killed and churches have been indiscriminately attacked, even well-established ones in predominantly Christian states like Chin and Kayah. More Christians than ever have been driven out of their homes and have found refuge in churches or camps for internally displaced people. Some are even forced to flee to the jungle where they are often deprived of access to food and health care.
Christians are part of the generally peaceful resistance movement, but fighting has increased across the country, and although not all ethnic minority armed groups are involved, some Christian ones are. Government forces have continued to disproportionally attack Christian villages and churches and also killed Christian aid workers and pastors, often in aerial attacks. This has created a dangerous situation for believers and is a key reason that the country has leapt to No. 17 on the 2024 World Watch List.
The situation for civilians has gotten even worse in 2024. The United Nations reports that more than 3 million people in Myanmar have been displaced by the conflict—and the number has surged by more than 50 percent in only the last six months.

One of the places that has been the setting of significant warfare is the Sagaing Region, home to some of the more established rebel groups and armed resistance fighters. It’s also home to a sizable Christian minority. In 2023, 100 civilians in the region were killed by an airstrike, and in early 2024, another village was bombed and 17 civilians were killed, including nine children.
A more recent attack by the ruling military council targeted a Christian village—more than 400 houses were burned down, including five churches. Locals told Open Doors partners that, in mid-April, the military marched into the village and started burning down the houses and churches. It’s believed the goal of the attack was to discourage rebel fighters and to spread fear.
“Houses that could not be burned down were also destroyed by industrial equipment,” says a villager who witnessed the destruction. “A school was destroyed by their heavy weapons and drone bombs. They broke into the houses. After that, they took off with a getaway vehicle.”
Ko Thein* a local Open Doors partner shares: “The village contains around 500 houses, and they all [belong to] Christians. Since their houses and churches are burned, the people are now displaced to the nearby areas and taking shelter in all possible areas.”
Because of the incident in the village, nine nearby villages have been evacuated.

CHRIST JESUS, THE APOSTLE & HIGH PRIEST

Heb 3:1-6 Therefore, holy brothers, called to be partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,

who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house. For He was counted worthy of more glory than Moses because he who has built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses truly was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken afterwards. But Christ was faithful as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

We have heard of Apostle Peter, Paul, and the other 12 disciples. The author of Hebrews addresses Jesus as an Apostle here. In fact, Jesus is the first Apostle on the earth.

Apostle means messenger, one who is sent. Jesus was sent by God from heaven to be the chief priest.

Priest is the one who stands in the presence of God to intercede for His people. God is ever calling us upward and heavenward. Jesus comes from God as Apostle and goes for us to God as Priest.

In His human life, how humble and faithful Jesus was! He originally built the Jewish polity and commonwealth on earth! Jesus was and is as much greater than Moses as the architect than the foreman and the Son than the servant.

It is not enough to begin the Christian race; we must hold fast our confidence and hope to the end.

The Hebrew Christians missed the splendid ceremonial of their ancient faith, and were suffering heavily from persecution and opposition. But was it not worthwhile to persevere, if only to be recognized as belonging to the household of God? Surely for them and for us the experiences of Israel in the forty years of wandering are full of warning.

All the Christians should be admonished by that Wilderness cemetery!

Let us come to meditate on Jesus how He was faithful in all the House as a Son over his own house.

PAUL AT THE HOUSE OF THE PHILIPPIAN JAILER

Acts 16:25-34 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptised. The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.

On 21^st June 2024 (Friday) from 9 pm -12.30 pm along with Eastern Zone (Trichy, Perambalur, Manaparai, Puducherry) night prayer was conducted by Sol. Praveena Yobu. About 22 people attended. The opening prayer and pledge were said by Sol. John Felix.Worship was led by Sol.Nitya.Word of God was shared by Sol. Gesha. After that Lord's supper was conducted by Sol.Shanthini.Prophesying related to the prayer points,Warfare,Constituenial prayers were offered for all the blocks in the eastern zone by Sol.Shanthini Ebenezer,Sol.Saraswati and Sol.Praveena.Prayers were also offered for personal notes. HURRICANE BERYL FORECAST AND TRACK: STORM SLAMMING JAMAICA WITH LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS

Hurricane Beryl is slamming Jamaica with life-threatening impacts.

As of Wednesday evening, Beryl remains at Category 4 criteria, with winds now at 130 mph as it starts its push away from Jamaica, still passing near the southwest corner of the island.

Beryl is expected to continue weakening as it moves west and is expected to become a Category 3 overnight while passing south of the Cayman Islands.

While still being a major hurricane, Beryl's winds are forecasted to drop to 120 mph into Thursday.

On Tuesday night, as the storm barreled toward Jamaica, the country's prime minister, Andrew Holness, preemptively declared the entire island a disaster area in an address to the public Tuesday night.

Holmes also said an islandwide curfew will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time Wednesday.

Although the cyclone lost some steam as it closed in on Jamaica, it had already caused six deaths in the Caribbean.

Beryl was downgraded to a Category 4 from a Category 5, but its maximum sustained winds remained dangerous at 140 mph Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Hurricane Center. A hurricane warning was issued for Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

In anticipation of the storm, Jamaican officials shuttered three airports on Tuesday. They will stay closed through Wednesday, and reopening will be announced pending post-storm assessments.

Sangster International Airport (Montego Bay), Norman Manley International Airport (Kingston) and Ian Fleming International Airport (Boscobel) have all closed.

Current forecast beyond Jamaica

A weakening trend will continue through the rest of the week as Beryl sweeps across the Caribbean Sea and encounters less favorable atmospheric conditions.

Beryl will then aim for Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula by the end of the week. The current forecast calls for another landfall sometime on Friday south of Cancun as a Category 1 storm. A hurricane warning is in effect for the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, from Puerto Costa Maya to Cancun.

The same general area of eastern Mexico will likely now see impacts from all three of the first named storms of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, after being hit by Tropical Storms Alberto and Chris.

Beyond that, Beryl could weaken to a tropical storm, with maximum winds of 65 mph, but atmospheric conditions could become more favorable as it moves into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. By Sunday morning, Beryl could once again become a hurricane with winds near 75 mph. The current forecast calls for another landfall Sunday or Monday somewhere near the Mexico-U.S. border, near South Padre Island, possibly as a Category 1 storm. Some models push Beryl parallel to the Texas coast.

The storm is expected to bring flooding rain, storm surge and coastal flooding all the way to Corpus Christi by early next week. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is warning of life-threatening rip currents and large surf for the Gulf Coast from the Florida Panhandle to Texas.

Deadly storm

The hurricane killed three people in Cariacou in Grenada, where it made landfall on Monday, officials said. Another death from the storm was reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and two people were killed in northern Venezuela, officials in those countries said.

Hurricane Beryl had strengthened into a Category 5 storm heading into Tuesday as it moved through the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, becoming the strongest July Atlantic hurricane on record.

Early Tuesday, Beryl was packing maximum winds of 165 mph. The hurricane surpassed the July record of 160 mph maximum winds produced by Hurricane Emily in 2005, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The outer bands of Beryl also brought heavy rain to southern portions of the Dominican Republic and Haiti late Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Residents of St. Vincent and the Grenadines were cleaning up Tuesday and assessing damage. Schools, homes, buildings and farmland sustained extensive hurricane damage, officials said. On Union Island, which is part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, authorities said 90% of the houses were either destroyed or severely damaged, and the roof of the Union Island airport was ripped off by the hurricane's buzzsaw-like winds. Heavy damage was also reported at Argyle International Airport on St. Vincent.

The one death reported in the Grenadines occurred on Bequia Island, officials said.

After touring the damaged areas on Tuesday, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves told reporters that Beryl "left in its wake immense destruction."

Sea surface temperatures in the Caribbean Sea are running warmer than average for this time of the year, more in line with where they would be at the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season rather than early July. This is providing ample fuel for Beryl's extreme intensification.

Continuation from the previous issue…

In the fields where they are placed by the Lord, they are shining as lights.The Army of Jesus didn’t keep them all under one organization. In this, the Lord made AOJ a Model Church to the world. Soldiers have complete freedom to do ministry in any field as the Spirit of God directs them.

Jesus knew that all the 12 disciples were given to Him by the Father. He made it clear in His prayer.

John 17:6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

But Jesus gave them full freedom to go away from Him. They were not under any compulsion.

After listening to the hard words Jesus uttered, many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.

So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”

This is the difference between the real Church of Jesus Christ and the false duplicate Church. There the members will be forced to remain in the organization. They will go to any extreme and resort to any measures not to lose them.

Remaining in and with Jesus is always a choice offered to every human being.

Act 17:26-27 …. having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.

AOJ does not use any measures to make anyone dependent on itself. Except for the training and true fellowship, it has nothing worldly to offer to its soldiers.

Hence dear soldiers, Let us

(Col 3:12-16) Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

OUR EXPERIENCES

We need to ask ourselves: Do I really believe that "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever"? Am limiting what I believe because of what I have experienced, and limiting God's power in my life? result, am I

2 Corinthians 5: 7 tells us, "We live by faith, not by sight. "We never want to build our faith on what we see or how we feel. We want to build our faith in the Word of God!

And we stayed there several days.On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. HEAVY RAIN POUNDS DELHI, ROADS WATERLOGGED AS MONSOON ARRIVES IN CAPITAL

The monsoon has arrived in the national capital, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday, as heavy rain pounded Delhi, bringing the city to a halt and leaving several roads inundated.

The IMD said the southwest monsoon further advanced into parts of west Rajasthan, the remaining parts of east Rajasthan, some parts of Haryana, entire Delhi, and some more parts of west Uttar Pradesh.

Delhi received 150 mm of rainfall in three hours between 2.30 am to 5.30 am in one of the wettest spells the capital has recorded this year. The city's main observatory in Safdarjung recorded 228 mm of rain in the past 24 hours.

A portion of the roof of Delhi airport's Terminal-1 collapsed amid heavy rain, killing one person and injuring four others.

Many areas have been waterlogged, and water entered houses in several low-lying areas. The movement of traffic has been hit, with many stranded on the road due to waterlogging.

Mathrua Road, Teen Murti Marg, Moolchand, Minto Road, Anand Vihar, Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Mandawali, Bhikaji Cama Place, Madhu Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Munirka, Dhaula Kuan, Moti Bagh, ITO, and several sectors in the Noida area are among the many areas that are waterlogged.

Traffic police announced diversions in many areas. Key roads, including Delhi Meerut Highway, Naraina-Moti Bagh road near Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Vir Banda Bairagi Marg at Azad Market underpass, Tilak Bridge, Aurobindo Marg, Anuvrat Marg, ITO, and many roads leading to AIIMS, were flooded, and police advised commuters to take alternate routes.

At the Azad Market underpass, a passenger bus broke down, and the commuters were rescued and taken to safer places.

Several vehicles were seen stuck on submerged roads and underpasses in the city during the morning rush hour.

Delhi Metro service operations were also affected due to heavy rains. Entry/exit gates have been closed at Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector - 25 Metro station and the shuttle service from Delhi Aerocity Metro station to Terminal 1-IGI Airport has been suspended, the Metro officials said.

Meanwhile, accusing the Delhi government of not preparing for the monsoon, BJP Councillor Ravinder Singh Negi rowed an inflatable boat as a symbolic protest against the Delhi Government. "All PWD drains are overflowing. They weren't cleaned ahead of the monsoon. This has led to waterlogging...Vinod Nagar has submerged," he said.

Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi countered the claims by saying that the situation has improved since last year. She added that the authorities have identified waterlogging points and are undertaking on-ground work to prevent flooding.

"The situation is far better than the last time. In a way, this is the first rain of monsoon. All such points have been identified today. All departments and officers are working on the ground and work is underway at all locations that are affected by waterlogging. People of Delhi won't face this situation after today," Mayor Oberoi said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Government called an emergency meeting at 2 pm today at Delhi Secretariat, over heavy rainfall and waterlogging. All ministers and officers from departments concerned have been directed be present at the meeting.

Rain is likely to continue in the city as Delhi expects the monsoon's arrival. The India Meteorological Department stated on Thursday that conditions are likely to become favourable for the advancement of the southwest monsoon in Delhi during the next two to three days.
