You shall not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites

Abraham while sending Eleazar to choose a wife for  his son, his first preference was:

You shall not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites

The way how the Holy Spirit led this servant is a study matter of  how to deal with  marriage, choosing a partner etc.

“You shall not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell.  But you shall go to my country and to my kindred, and take a wife to my son Isaac.(v 3)  

1. She should come to live with Isaac to his place.

2. Never take back my son there.

Even if it is not of one’s own  tribe, caste, relative,  or even  nationality,  all these can be renounced for the sake  of faith. None of these should  be given priority to  the detriment of faith.

When he reached the place, he still had  difficulty  as to where to go, whom to approach etc. He asked for a sign from the Lord.

Gen 24:13-14  Behold, I stand by the well of water. And the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water.  And let it be that the young woman to whom I shall say, Let down your pitcher, please, so that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give your camels drink also. Let her be the one that You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by it I shall know that You have shown kindness to my master. 

In choosing a partner, you can ask for a sign from the Lord within the conditions. 

Gen 24:16  And the young woman was very beautiful to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her.

She was  young, beautiful to look upon, a virgin, not known by any other man before.

Young: Marriage should take place at a  young age. For the sake of earning money, or for any other reason, parents should not keep their daughters  with them without allowing them to be given  in marriage or even ladies themselves should not delay in getting married. 

Beautiful to look upon:

It is not the physical beauty, but beauty of the spirit that matters.

1Pe 3:3-6  Of whom let not be the adorning of garments, or outward braiding of hair and wearing of gold, or of putting on clothing,  but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.   For so once indeed the holy women hoping in God adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands;  as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children you became, doing good and fearing no terror. 

A virgin not known by any other man before: Virginity to be safeguarded. To a girl, the  most precious treasure to be safeguarded until marriage is her virginity. It is a gift from God, which should be considered more precious than her life, and to be protected even paying the price of life.  Virginity is the best gift one can give to the partner at marriage.

New TIP project – Green Revolution  : All the Regional Coordinators are asked to encourage their State coordinators & smps to plant 10 saplings each,  in and  around  their house  or grow  a kitchen garden for vegetables, creepers  or fruits.  Let the children take care of them,  water them every day. This will create a green revolution in India and assist to a great extent in adding to the income of the family. Let us bring testimonies of this in the next meetings. 2. Worship Festival: On November 1^st SU has planned to  conduct a Worship Festival, after the common worship.  All the 5 wings of SU will participate in it.

Mighty Prince among us

Bible talks to us about so many things which our forefathers faced.

Abraham’s wife Sarah died while he was a sojourner and a foreigner in the land where he was living.  He did not have a place of his own to bury her. Poor Abraham!.  Leaving aside the sorrow of his heart, he had to look for a place to bury the body immediately. The Bible says,

Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying,

Gen 23:4  I am a stranger and a visitor with you. Give me a possession of a burying place with you, so that I may bury my dead out of my sight. 

Abraham had proved his credibility as a true servant of God.   See the verses below, the conversation between Ehhron, the son of Zohar and Abraham.

Gen 23:6  Hear us, my lord. You are a mighty prince among us. Bury your dead in the choice of our burying places. None of us shall withhold from you his burying-place from burying your dead. 

How dignified Abraham was in the sight of those people.     

He wanted to  give the land free.  But Abraham wanted to pay for the land and buy it.  This showed the dignity of Abraham.

Today in India, we Christians have yet to prove our  nobility. We are branded by others as sojourners and foreigners here. We are denied of even our fundamental rights because Christianity is yet to prove  its worth in this nation.

I came to know the testimony of a sister whose father refused to talk to her for 3 years even though she was his pet child, for the only reason  that she accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She was narrating the reason for this. Her father who was a doctor used to treat  poor people free.  There was an orphanage near their house, the children of which used to come to him for treatment.  He never charged them anything.  One day one   person from that orphanage approached him for getting  signatures  in some  medical bills of  the children which he had not collected. This incident provoked him and became a great scandal in his life. He lost confidence in Christianity.   

Let us  repent  and amend our ways . We have sold out the name of our Lord Jesus for our petty selfish motives.  May the Lord forgive all our iniquities and accept us.

Biblical New Testament Worship is far different from what we call “Worship” today in the Churches.

In the New Testament, people  praised and worshipped God

1. In houses, in prison, Act 16:25  About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them
2. At the foot of the Cross. Luk 23:47  Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!” 
3. In the streets. Matthew 21:16  and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?”
4. And everywhere. Jesus said, John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

All the people worshipped and praised the Lord. (Rom 15:9,11).

All people, literate, illiterate, rich, poor, of all castes and  tribes  should be taught to worship the Lord.

They should be taught to worship everywhere, wherever they are. It does not need a particular place, a building necessarily because the Lord’s dwelling place is the heart. 

Taking all this into consideration, as per the instruction of the Lord, The Army of Jesus started worshipping the Lord 24 hours at the National Worship Centre Chennai from April 13, 2014. On the seventh year , after the completion of 26,280 slots of chain worship, the Lord asked the AOJ to start the Sapphire University. So it started to mobilize all the worshippers whom AOJ has trained as worshippers in the nation. To the surprise of everybody within 2 months April & May of 2020, it could raise 3000 worshippers. In one more month the number of worshippers increased to 4250! Apart from that, David School of worship was going on in various parts of the country from 2016 onwards. The participants learned  the subjects taught on worship. They also  composed songs and sang in the  practical session.

Praise the Lord! Sapphire University is the first of its kind in the world. The aim of this University is to raise true worshippers in huge numbers, especially trained skillful worshippers who will worship the Lord 24 hours 365 days as in the days of King David. It is not only learning to play musical instruments. They will be taught to transform  their life into worship.

And will rebuild the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;

I will rebuild its ruins,

And I will set it up.

As per the Lord's promise, he is returning and rebuilding the temple of praise through the Sapphire University.

There are different types of music in the world, for example, classical music, pop music, rock music, jazz music, heavy metal music, etc..

In the Sapphire University, we have customized the entire syllabus to drive towards  worship. Every step we take here is driven towards worship. We have theory as well as practical. The theory sessions are the music classes and the practical sessions are conducted through online worship. And we teach the participants how to worship the Lord through David school of worship.

3 things the Lord sends before you

The Lord had promised the Israelites that He will go with them and His presence will guide them.  But when they sinned, the Lord changed His mind and told them, 

Exo 33:3  Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Instead three times He promised to send various helps.

1. Angel - Exo 23:20-23  “Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.  Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him. “But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

2. His terror - Exo 23:27  I will send my terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

3. Hornets - Exo 23:28  And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you. 

Little by little

 Exo 23:29  I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. 

Exo 23:30  Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. 

Deu 7:22-24  The LORD your God will clear away these nations before you little by little. You may not make an end of them at once, lest the wild beasts grow too numerous for you. 

But the LORD your God will give them over to you and throw them into great confusion, until they are destroyed.  And he will give their kings into your hand, and you shall make their name perish from under heaven. No one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.

Rom  5:10. “Little by little” is the law of progressive sanctification. The Holy Spirit shows us the next portion to be taken and the enemies that resist our prayers. But as we advance, they are driven out, Isa 54:17.

Exo 23:29-31  I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you.   Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.   And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

The Lord made us conduct Nazareth School of Family Building in Telugu from 21.09.2020 to 01.10.2020. All Glory to Jesus.

Around 14 members participated in Nazareth school of family building.

Sol.Krupamayuri saw a white light which was sent on each soldier and saw a dove with large wings passing on all participants.

God’s Command for the Global Churches/Church Leaders/Evangelists/Missionaries …

1. No mention about money or tithe offering (via online also) in the Churches
2. No construction of Church buildings. Stop the Church building works even that are now going on.
3. Molding and training believers and releasing them from the Church after 6 months.
4. Graduation of six months old believers
5. Dividing the Church into small groups of 10
6. Pastors should look for jobs and get employed
7. No full time pastors for the church.

Testimonies:

1)  Most of them were attending School of Prophecy for the first time. They did not understand how to prophesy over to people but after attending JSP, they prophesized over the people.

2) God spoke many times to a sister before attending JSP. But she didn't understand that it is God who spoke with her. But, by God’s grace now she understand how God speaks to us.

Mat 5:39  But I say to you, Do not resist evil. But whoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 

Jesus gave this as a commandment and practised it in His life.

Can you narrate one incident of Jesus not resisting evil when he became a victim?

1. I would say, Judas, being the treasurer among the apostles, , having the offering  box with him, while became greedy, but Jesus did not remove him from post. Even when Jesus knew that He will be betrayed by him for money He did not resist.
2. Being silent before Pilate when he asked,

 “John 19:9  Where do you come from? But Jesus gave him no answer” 

Let’s  compare it with another verse in the Bible.

Jas 4:7 “ Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. There is a great contrast between these two verses.

Jesus said not to resist evil. James says, Resist the devil.

Why did Jesus say, “Do not resist evil”? The reason is given in

2 Th 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and guard you from the evil.

It is the Lord who guards His faithful from evil.

Jesus taught us to pray

Mat 6:13  “........but deliver us from the evil”.

 God knows that we, as long as in our human body, are weak by nature. So He asked us to pray for the heavenly protection .

We, in our human nature, can discard  this guaranteed protection  offered by  God, as well. But that will be  dangerous.

Our sinful nature might instruct us,

“You can guard yourself. You know better by experience/age/education  what to be done  at this time.  Why do you need somebody else  to instruct you on this?”

This is the result of “eating from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil”

In the above verses  “Resist the devil’, ‘Do not resist Evil’

There is only a small difference of one ‘d’-  evil, devil.

Here evil means a lot more than devil. Devil is one of the evils.

Let us see some examples quoted from the Bible.

Evil in Bible

The above are some of the evils we find in the world. The defence mechanism for the above is only prayer. We have to pray to the Father to protect us from the  evil. 

Mat 5:39  But I say to you, Do not resist evil. But whoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 

Mat 5:40-42  And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 

And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 

Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. 

But in the case of devil, we have to resist with all our strength, of course with God’s grace. 

May God give us the wisdom to discern between the two.

India Predicted to Have 6.8 Million Fewer Female Birth by 2030 due to Sex-Selective Abortions

A study shows that India could see about 6.8 million fewer female births between 2017 and 2030 because of sex-selective abortions.

The PLOS ONE study from Fengqing Chao at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, and her colleagues said there is an “intensity of son preference” in the Indian culture, The Christian Post reports.

“The masculinized SBR (sex birth ratio) for India is a direct result of the practice of sex-selective abortions at the national level,” the paper, titled “Probabilistic projection of the sex ratio at birth and missing female births by State and Union Territory in India.”

“Some states, such as Punjab, have experienced an early and rapid rise in birth masculinity since the 1980s, whereas in North Indian states, the masculinized SBR started to increase later.”

The Uttar Pradesh area could lose the most female births with researchers estimating about 2 million less from 2017 to 2030.

“Our study highlights the need to strengthen policies that advocate for gender equity and the introduction of support measures to counteract existing gender biases that adequately target each regional context,” they concluded.

“Future work may include additional sources of heterogeneity, such as education, religion, and ethnicity, for projecting the SBR in India and extending the SBR predictions for longer-term projections.”

In 2019, a research analyst at the Population Research Institute published an opinion piece in The Christian Post saying that since 1990, about 15.8 million girls “have been eliminated through sex-selective abortion and other forms of prenatal daughter elimination.”

“To put that in perspective, that is roughly the equivalent of the population of Portugal and Finland combined,” Jonathan Abbamonte said.

Abbamonte also said China, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and nations in the Balkan Peninsula of Europe are areas where “millions of girls have been lost” because of sex-selective abortion.

Christians in Northern India Forced to Stop Worship, Pastor Says

HYDERABAD, India, September 10, 2020 (Morning Star News) – Harassment of Christians by hard-line Hindus in northern India ended in police coercing a pastor to agree to stop holding worship in his home after an officer threatened to make false charges against his son, he said.

The pastor said the coercion by police in Uttar Pradesh state came after his son, 19-year-old Pawan Kumar, on Aug. 25 asked intoxicated Hindus to stop yelling disparaging remarks about Christianity outside their home in Tarkulwa village, Maharajganj District.

On the night of the triggering incident, the group of Hindus were on the verge of attacking but in their drunken state ended up fighting among themselves, he said. He took his son back inside and locked the door to the Hindus’ taunts of, “Hallelujah, Hallelujah,” which continued into the night, Pastor Sugriv said.

Arriving at the Shyam Deurwa police station, he found his son and one of the Hindus, who had falsely accused Kumar of sexually harassing young women in the village. Police were planning to charge him with sexual harassment, the pastor said.

At length Pastor Sugriv pleaded for them to release him, reminded them of the complaint he had already filed and called the Uttar Pradesh team of legal advocacy group Alliance Defending Freedom India. ADF personnel brought the matter to higher police officials.

Pastor Sugrive said he had never left Kumar alone even at his grandparents’ home, much less in a jail cell.

The station house officer was adamant that he would not be released, he said.

“I entrusted my son to my Lord’s hands and left the police station that midnight after the officer retired from his duties,” Pastor Sugriv said. “God gave me the strength at that moment to be prepared for the worst.”

That night after midnight, a spokesperson at the Maharajganj District Police told Morning Star News that the in-charge inspector of Shyam Deurwa police station had been directed to take necessary action, but Kumar was not released.

“It affected him psychologically, he is of tender age,” Pastor Sugriv told Morning Star News. “Even the next day [Aug. 30], the officer refused to release him, but the brothers in ADF’s Uttar Pradesh team did not give up. Finally, in the evening, he was released without any charges.”

As a condition for his son’s release, the officers forced Pastor Sugriv to sign a document vowing that they would never practice their faith in their home or talk about Christ with anyone, he said.

The pastor told Morning Star News he was shocked at the demand, saying, “Don’t we have the freedom to pray even within the four walls of our home?”

Shyam Deurwa Police Inspector Vijay Singh denied that the document Pastor Sugriv signed violated India’s religious freedoms, saying it prohibited only fraudulent conversion.

“Villagers have been opposing them since they have been propagating Christianity in the area, so I had only taken their signatures on a document vowing that they will not forcefully convert or allure anyone to convert,” Singh told Morning Star News.

Singh also denied that police took Kumar into custody that night or the next day or threatened to file false charges against him.

BEATINGS AMID COVID-19

In the case in Azamgarh District, Hindu extremist beatings in Dasmada village in early July that sent a Christian for hospital treatment have caused a house church to stop meeting for worship.

“We are all scattered now and only praying that Lord will allow us to resume the services in Dasmada,” 20-year-old pastor Vikas Gupta told Morning Star News.

He was leading a small group of Christians in worship in compliance with measures to control the spread of the coronavirus on July 1 when a mob of around 15 upper-caste Hindu villagers surrounded the place chanting slogans and threatening to kill the Christians, he said.

“They warned that if I am seen again in the village, they would hack me to death,” Pastor Gupta told Morning Star News. “We had tried to speak peacefully with them, but they were on fire.”

As they had issued threats since the founding of a house church there three years before, the pastor was used to such opposition, he said.

“But to our shock, they returned at around 5 p.m., around 30 this time, and started beating me and three other brothers present in the premises of the home church,” he said. “One of us was severely injured and had to be immediately rushed to the hospital.”

The mob also damaged parked vehicles, the church roof and other property, he said.

On July 6 they returned, saying their relatives had become Christians and were refusing to eat food offered to Hindu gods and goddesses, Pastor Gupta said.

“They accused us, saying we had been training the people who come to church to go against their Hindu relatives, and that because we had been propagating a foreign faith in the village we don’t deserve to live,” he told Morning Star News. “They kept punching us on the back and striking our heads as they took us to a local Hindu temple and forced us to vow that we will not preach about a foreign God.”

The Christians told them repeatedly that they had not trained anyone to oppose them but only gathered at the home to worship and pray, but they ignored them, he said.

With the help of ADF India, on July 7 they filed a police report about the attacks, he said.

Pastor Gupta took refuge at a Christian’s home in a nearby village, and the rest of the members and pastors of the church fled to another community – only to be attacked there at 10 p.m. by about 100 radical Hindus, he said.

“They fled from there to save themselves,” Pastor Gupta said, adding that for the past two months, house-church leaders have sought refuge in neighboring towns.

ADF India’s representative in Uttar Pradesh stated that they have guided persecuted Christians on how to file complaints online amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The harassment of Christians continues even through the lockdown,” he said.

India is ranked 10^th on Christian support organization Open Doors’ 2020 World Watch List of the countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian. The country was 31st in 2013, but its position has been worse each year since Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in 2014.

Testimonies from West Region – Maharashtra

1) In Troop Church a person affected with cancer was prayed and prophesied over by the Troop members, and the person was healed. They were new believers.

2) One brother was backslided, had attended all the trainings of AOJ, however he went back into the world. But during the lockdown, after attending the school of Hospitality he gave his life to the Lord and made a commitment only to follow Jesus.

3) One sister was healed from severe pain in her stomach during the school of Family Building

4) One sister from Navi Mumbai who works in a parlour, while she was attending online BFF a customer came in and class of Inner Healing was going on, the customer also heard the whole class on speaker and she was so touched and gave her life to Christ.

5) A family from Mumbai was continuously praying for spiritual growth and direction. They were convinced that Institution Church is not the way of the Lord. However they did not know how to come out and where to go. After attending Online BFF they are fully convinced about the Vision and have got a proper direction which they were seeking.

My husband had gone to UK last year and wanted to come back to Goa from March but was stuck in UK for the last 6-7months due to the deadly pandemic spread all across the world. UK was badly hit in the earlier months and during that time my husband had got sick with fever for the 1-2  weeks with fever, vomiting and diaharroea. But after praying, God gave us assurance through a message that no harm shall come upon him and within a week he was completely healed. When he wanted to come back to Goa there were no flights due to stringent  international lockdown. But as months went by and lockdown procedures  lifted gradually, international borders were open but with heavy ticket price hike and stringent protocols on the airport. Current situation in India added to our dismay as things were becoming

pretty bad with cases rising at a staggering rate. But all we did was trusted in God to bring my husband,  back. During one of our troop meetings my husband, told to pray that he would come safely and one of our soldiers of AOJ saw that he had returned home safely. Holding on to the promise we kept praying during our troop church and our personal prayer time to bring him safely and for the covid test to result to be negative. He needed help with his luggage, but the Lord sent a man from our village who was also working in UK to help him throughout the time till my husband entered the flight.

In the end he reached safely without any issues yesterday.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my family members of AOJ in Christ for their prayers. May the Lord bless you all and your family and may the divine favor of the Lord always be upon you. Thank you Lord Jesus for fulfilling your promises to your children.

Gen 8:1  But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided. 

Let us look at the previous verse,

Gen 7:23, 24  He (God) blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days. 

God remembered Noah.

It is said in the Bible, God feeds even the raven when it cries for food.

Job 38:41  Who provides  for the raven his prey, When his young ones cry unto God, And wander for lack of food?

So cry of every bird and animal reaches the ears of God every day.

During the flood, all the ravens, all the birds, all the animals, and all human beings would have cried with all their strength , not for food, but for their lives!

What kind of a sound  it would have been? Think of a situation when a  pilot takes all the efforts to make  safe landing of an aircraft but finally  gives an announcement,

“things have gone out of my control”

What a great  cry  would be there!

150 days it went on and on. Every day  cries would have been there!

 Finally all the cries merged with the roaring of the waters.  There was calm.

Noah did not cry. Would not have even called  upon the Lord.  But he would have been  taken up by fear, anxiety and awe!

8^th chapter of Genesis starts,

God remembered Noah and all the beasts and livestock with him in the ark.

In 2012, God said, AOJ will be “ Noah’s Ark” during the time of Famine (2014-2020).

God remembered you and me during the pandemic and during all the disasters during these 14 years.

God has given man authority over all His creations, but no authority, no freedom over his own body! God has kept man’s body for Himself!

Man is left with no choice rather surrendering the body holy to the Holy one to whom it belongs!

7 reasons to surrender our body pure to the Lord

* 1. Body is for the Lord *

         Food is for the stomach and stomach is for the food, man can make his own choice, as stomach and food belongs to man. But Body is for the Lord and Lord is for the body and it’s God who has to make the choice and He has made holiness His choice. Man can’t experience fornication.

2. Our body will be raised imperishable

         God destroys both stomach and food; our choices for them make no difference eternally. But our body is raised imperishable, in glory and in power by the power of God who raised Christ. Our choices for our earthly body define our eternal body too and therefore it can be nothing other than holiness.

 *3. We can’t take authority over members of Christ *

        Our bodies are members of Christ. Therefore we cannot take His members and make them the members of a harlot.

4. We are one in Spirit with the Lord

         As we are one in Spirit with the Lord, we cannot have any other union other than the holy union which is with the flesh and bones of Christ and our own partner.

* 5. Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit*

         Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit. We received Him from God and He resides within us. Being the temple, we ought to diligently take care not to defile our body at any cost. Of all sins, our vigilance should be more against sexual sins, as all other sins remain outside the body but the sexual sin directly corrupts the holiness of our body defiling the temple . One has to be always alert and awake to flee from any situation that has the tendency to tempt.

* 6. We are accountable for the body given to us *

         We are accountable for whatever we have received from God. It’s not only true for talents, possessions and responsibilities but also true for the body we received from Him. By mistreating or abusing our own body with wrong habits or provoking others sexually with our body, we become unaccountable. Holiness is the only accountability permissible by God.

* 7. We are not our own, we are bought with a price for God*

         We are not the owners of our body as God has already spent a huge price Jesus Christ to purchase us and make His own. All those which belong to Him will glorify nothing other than Him. Therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit which are His.

In the 17th Chapter of Acts, Luke describes what looks like, at first glance, a pause in Paul’s missionary efforts. After being run out of, first, Thessalonica and then Berea, Paul is stuck in Athens, waiting for Silas and Timothy to catch up. However, Luke describes Paul not as “impatient,” but as “greatly distressed” by the pornographic, violent, and quite extensive idol worship all around him in the city of Athens.

His initial attempts to share the Gospel confuse his Epicurean and Stoic listeners, and so, given a chance to present in a moral formal setting, Paul goes back to square one. There is only one God, Paul proclaims, one alone. He created everything. He wasn’t created by some sculptor, nor does He live anywhere made by human hands.

The two opposing philosophical camps in Paul’s audience hold differing views, particularly about the relationship between the gods and history. The Stoics believed the gods determined and controlled everything about our time and place, leaving no real room for human free will. The Epicureans on the other hand, believed that after the gods created the world, they tired of it and lost interest, leaving human beings to their own devices. With no one watching, so to speak, people were left in a sort of moral free-for-all. “Eat, drink, and be merry,” as the saying goes, “for tomorrow we die.”

It is in the context of these competing philosophies that Paul offers a fascinating and important insight about the one true God: “From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth. And He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their dwelling place. He did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him.” (emphasis added)

In other words, to both the fatalist Stoics and the hedonistic Epicureans, Paul describes a God who is intimately involved in time and place so that we can find Him. In other words, it is no accident that we find ourselves in this time and this place. The God who created you intended the right now of every single human life.

What a crucial insight in a world that, since the pandemic, feels like it’s suspended in time. We’ve so much to mourn these last several months, especially the hundreds of thousands of people who have died, and the loved ones forced to miss funerals, as well as many weddings and births. We’ve watched as suicide rates have gone up, and the elderly and vulnerable have suffered in isolation.

But God wasn’t surprised by this. This is hard, but if Paul is correct, this time in history isn’t an interruption. It’s not a lost year.

In one of the Buzzfeed “Lost Year” profiles, a mother describes mourning the loss of certain childhood experiences. Her young son missed playing basketball with his friends this year or walking to school. I understand her disappointment at these “missed” experiences. At the same time, the pandemic and these shutdowns and all the chaos surrounding them are also childhood experiences, because there are children experiencing them. This is where God has placed them and us; and, like Paul told the Athenians, this present moment is where we can seek Him, find Him, and do what He’s asked us to do.

Throughout the pandemic, there are many stories of Christians finding innovative ways to seize the opportunities in front of them. Samaritan’s Purse set up an entire temporary hospital in New York City to treat the sick. Many churches pivoted to online services and never stopped reaching out to their neighbors. A few weeks ago, we shared about churches opening their doors for kids whose schools are closed, given them a place to do online schoolwork during the day while their parents work. None of these good works are done by those who shrug shoulders and chalk up inconvenience, tragedy, and challenge as “lost time.”

At the same time, many families are re-discovering shared mealtimes, learning, hiking, playing and praying together. And make no mistake this is an opportunity for parents to help kids cultivate something they will desperately need for the rest of their lives, especially in a culture like ours: resilience. A resume of happy childhood experiences isn’t necessarily the best way to cultivate that.

This moment God has determined for us is challenging and chaotic. But He also determined us for this moment. And He’s with us.

This is no lost year.

These days  Christians are frightened to speak, preach or teach about Jesus Christ in public. The threat or rumours of  anti conversion bill is also being spread widely.  

Conventions, Crusades, tracts ministry, VBS etc.are all gone. Their time is over. They are no more allowed in the society.

The ministries the Christian Churches were involved into, in the past 2020 years are  put to challenge and are questioned.  All are suppressed by laws.

In the Bible  Paul  mentions about  a new method of evangelizing “against which there is no law”.

The anti conversion law, or its subdivisions nothing  can rise against this. What is this method.

Gal 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

The Army of Jesus soldiers also are to be introduced into this new method. These are called the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is not fruits, but fruit, a single one. As we have many pieces  in an orange of the same taste and  colour, all these 9 pieces  are of the same fruit and in one fruit.

This is the time, the believers of Jesus Christ even the soldiers of the Army of Jesus  have to bear fruit. From the time we  were planted on the earth the Lord watered us, applied good manure, took good care of us,  looked after us well. Now this is the time to bear fruit.

Let us bear good fruit and glorify God. Those branches which do not bear the above fruits will be cut off and thrown into fire .

Joh 15:5,6   I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 

Dear soldiers, let us reach out to others in selfless love, leaving behind all our dignity of culture, position, office and let us identify ourselves with the needy. The needy may not come in search of us, but we have to go in search of them.  Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth on His own, not on our demand.

7 reasons to surrender our body pure to the Lord

* 1. Body is for the Lord *

         Food is for the stomach and stomach is for the food, man can make his own choice, as stomach and food belongs to man. But Body is for the Lord and Lord is for the body and it’s God who has to make the choice and He has made holiness His choice. Man can’t experience fornication.

2. Our body will be raised imperishable

         God destroys both stomach and food; our choices for them make no difference eternally. But our body is raised imperishable, in glory and in power by the power of God who raised Christ. Our choices for our earthly body define our eternal body too and therefore it can be nothing other than holiness.

 *3. We can’t take authority over members of Christ *

        Our bodies are members of Christ. Therefore we cannot take His members and make them the members of a harlot.

4. We are one in Spirit with the Lord

         As we are one in Spirit with the Lord, we cannot have any other union other than the holy union which is with the flesh and bones of Christ and our own partner.

* 5. Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit*

         Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit. We received Him from God and He resides within us. Being the temple, we ought to diligently take care not to defile our body at any cost. Of all sins, our vigilance should be more against sexual sins, as all other sins remain outside the body but the sexual sin directly corrupts the holiness of our body defiling the temple . One has to be always alert and awake to flee from any situation that has the tendency to tempt.

* 6. We are accountable for the body given to us *

         We are accountable for whatever we have received from God. It’s not only true for talents, possessions and responsibilities but also true for the body we received from Him. By mistreating or abusing our own body with wrong habits or provoking others sexually with our body, we become unaccountable. Holiness is the only accountability permissible by God.

* 7. We are not our own, we are bought with a price for God*

         We are not the owners of our body as God has already spent a huge price Jesus Christ to purchase us and make His own. All those which belong to Him will glorify nothing other than Him. Therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit which are His.

Today, we took the kids to my mom in laws garden, and there was a cement tank in which the kids usually bath. But in a hurry, we didn’t clean the tank properly. Anyhow the kids were enjoying, when, maybe after 15 minutes the elder 2 started scratching their body and crying. We quickly got them out and wiped them...but they continued to cry...we didn’t have any lotion in hand, but I found few antihistamine tablets in the car. When returning, my husband had washed them again, and we commanded the allergic reaction to stop in Jesus's name...and they both settled without crying within 5 minutes... without the antihistamines!

Our God is living and active! He has given us the authority in Jesus's name to heal and deliver.

I thank and praise God for His healing in Jesus's name!

Last Sunday early morning I was called for a cesarean section. The baby came out fine, but the baby was having fast breathing. Suddenly the oxygen requirement started to fall and increased the oxygen flow for the baby yet with almost 10 L of oxygen, Baby saturation was around 70% ( low , normal > 90% for a new born). So immediately I prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. As soon as I prayed the oxygen requirement came down and the distress reduced. The gynecologist was surprised, as five minutes back she saw the baby having difficulty in breathing and the saturation was on the lower limit and so planned to shift to a higher center. Now saturation became 99% with 3 L oxygen. Doctor was surprised she was even thinking whether to refer the child or not know. The sisters there knew that it was the work of the Lord. The name of the Lord was glorified Thank you Jesus for healing that baby.

This is the God’s Command for the Global Believers …

Those whom He loves, God  gives authority to rule  

Gen 9:2  And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon the animals of the earth, and upon every bird of the air, upon all that moves on the earth, and upon all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. 

When God created man He gave only this authority: To rule over the Earth. In the Old Testament, the Psalmist has described the heavens, planets and stars  which have been put under Man’s authority!

Psa 8:1  O Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens! 

Psa 8:3-4  When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have established; 

Psa 8:5-8  For You have made him lack a little from God, and have crowned him with glory and honor.  You made him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:  all sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field;  the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, and all that pass through the paths of the seas. 

The Psalmist got the revelation that God made Man ruler of everything that He created. It goes even beyond the planet earth, “The works of His hands”.

Psa 8:6  You made him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet: 

When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon on 24 July 1969, he exercised the  authority given to man over the planets.

When Tensing and Hillary climbed Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world, on May 29, 1953, they were obeying God’s   specific command in Gen 1:28

“Subdue the earth”

When the US Government  started NASA on October 1, 1958 for  the development of Science and Technology , they were fulfilling the command of God. Those who are working in Vikram Sara Bhai Centre or  all atomic research centres are vigorously obeying the demands of the Bible

Our late President Abdul Kalam was obeying the command of God by spending his whole life in making researches on planets and trying to subdue them. He won to a great extent. He spent his whole life in fulfilling this command of God and hence the Lord blessed him with an award,

“Vision India 2020”

Since he was not able to interpret it in the light of the Gospel, the Lord raised people in His Church to interpret “Vision India 2020”. The first Vision about the future of India was given to Dr. Abdul Kalaam because he proved his  eligibility by obeying the God given command Gen 1:28.

Gen 1:28  And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 

The Lord blessed man  with the authority and power  to subdue everything that He created. If God had given just a command to rule over the earth without His blessing him, then

Bible would have read,

“God commanded him”,  Be fruitful.....

But the word used in Gen 1: 28  is not “Commanded” but “Blessed”.

It is a command plus blessing. In other words, the grace to fulfil the conditions of the command  given, is also inherent in the Blessing.

So Adam was not only given  a command but given all support, stamina, divine help, wisdom, and all that is needed in administering and governing the whole earth by the authority given to him by God. 

Let’s see what all came under the authority of Adam as per Gen 1:28

1. Fish of the sea (v, 26)
2. Fowls of the heavens
3. Every living thing that moves on the earth.(v 28)
4. All the earth (v 26)

All the earth: It includes  surface of the earth , every inch of the land on the earth,  mountains, hills, rivers, clouds, trees, vegetation, forests, soil, air, animal kingdom, minerals, ocean etc.

Our only duty on earth is subduing it.  Each one among you is given a portion of the earth.

It is your Constituency or the  area of your residence.

As you are fully engaged in it,  Heaven is rejoicing over you. 

Those whom He loves, God  gives authority to rule

“Administration” is taking part in the divine work of the Lord.  It is a gift to be claimed and developed by  every individual who is created in the image of God. They cross the barriers that come against them, one by one, and finally become overcomers, rulers of everything.

Soldiers of AOJ aim at this! Become a rulers ! Not only of one, but of many !

         We are accountable for whatever we have received from God. It’s not only true for talents, possessions and responsibilities but also true for the body we received from Him. By mistreating or abusing our own body with wrong habits or provoking others sexually with our body, we become unaccountable. Holiness is the only accountability permissible by God.

* 7. We are not our own, we are bought with a price for God*

         We are not the owners of our body as God has already spent a huge price Jesus Christ to purchase us and make His own. All those which belong to Him will glorify nothing other than Him. Therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit which are His.

God has given man authority over all His creations, but no authority, no freedom over his own body! God has kept man’s body for Himself!

Man is left with no choice rather surrendering the body holy to the Holy one to whom it belongs!

This is the Ministry of the Word of God put in a  nutshell.

 The apostle  Paul says,

For  this I labour, striving, according to the working of Him, who works in me in power.

1. “Striving” should be there. For each person, various types of striving is needed. In order to raise a Paul, Stephen had to lay down his life. Since he did it willingly the Church got a powerful Apostle who became the Apostle of all the
2. “Striving” should be according to the working of Him. We should walk in the same speed as Jesus in bringing a man into Christ.

I remember a boy who came to attend a Bible class with us. After 5 days of Bible class, he started going to the Catholic Church. Even though a Christian, he never went to Church or attended any service there.

In our eyes, it looked awkward. We have come out of the Catholic Church to preach Gospel. After attending our class, he went into the Catholic Church. How can we take it?

Million thanks to God, He did not allow me to speak a word against it.

One day he came for a clarification,  “Sister, today after the mass while I was praying to Mary, I heard a voice, “You need not say  “Ave Maria”(Hail Mary!) 3 times, 2 times is enough”

He came to me to  clarify  whether this is from the Lord or from satan. When I said it is from the Lord, he continued saying it 2 times. After a few days, the same voice, “No need to say 2 times, one time enough”. After a few days, same voice, “No need not say it at all”.

After one week, he came and said,

“The same voice came to me again, When I was looking at the statue of Mary, it became dark in colour, and I heard a voice, “Run away from this place.  So I ran with all my energy and went to another Church for mass”.

Today he is serving God the Almighty with his full strength. The  Holy Spirit has His own way of guiding souls, step by step, class by class.

If we strive in our way, as per our wisdom, away from His ways, result will be  Nil or minus. But the Holy Spirit who is working in that soul also is working in me in power. The  Holy Spirit’s main work is to connect people. After the work,  he detaches us from them.  Those who are wise will understand this and bear much fruit for the Lord.

A newborn baby delivered on 20 August developed jaundice on day two of life baby was given treatment for 5 days. Normally it will take only one day but jaundice level reduced after 5 days’ time. After stopping treatment baby was discharged on Day six of life. Repeat Jaundice level was again elevated hence baby again required three days photo therapy.  All these days I forgot my authority in Christ when I realized I have not done my duty.  I asked God for forgiveness and released healing over the baby’s Jaundice level reduced drastically baby became normal. Bilirubin was also normal. Thank you Jesus for healing the baby.

Is Coronavirus Connected To Bible Prophecy?                      

I have lived through several impactful--even game-changing--historical events which all occurred within 1 year. I worked in DC on 9/11, during the DC sniper murders, and during the DC anthrax mail attacks. That condensed time period was a pivotal moment in our nation's history. Things were never the same. Our Gen-Z population doesn't know what it was like before 9/11, just as my Gen-X generation doesn't know what it was like before the culture-shaking events of the 1960's. After 9/11, people filled churches again--but only for a time. As life returned to normal, so did the cultural default position. In fact it has worsened. In the West--including in America--there has been a steady decline of belief in the Bible or the God of the Bible. 

The great falling away predicted in Scripture continues and escalates. If trends continue, the next generation of leaders and decision makers will be "nones." "Nones" are those who do not identify with any religious affiliation or belief system. Like most of Europe, it will be wholly secular--which IS a belief system in itself, but I digress. As more and more people fall away from true, Biblical Christianity--so too will they fall away from its principles, wisdom, sound-logic, and blessings. There's not doubt that our country has been blessed so tremendously because it was founded on Biblical principles (and because we have blessed the nation of Israel [Genesis 12:3]). 

I'm not saying our country is perfect by any means, but to the degree that we have followed God's ways in our culture--we have also experienced God's blessing and protection. Fast-Forward to 2020. The world is on lock-down. The impending tidal wave of COVID-19 has not fully hit the US just yet, but the daily breaking news from our president (and other leaders) both reassures people with a bit more clarity--and frightens people as the reality of the pandemic sinks in. It's not very deadly--although all of us know people in the most vulnerable demographic, and we are concerned for their wellbeing. COVID-19 is not even that tough to have as a sickness for most people who are struck with it (as compared with frightening diseases such as ebola).  But the uncertainty surrounding the virus, and the speed with which it spreads, has sent people's emotions, sense of security, and the stock market into a tailspin.

HOW IS THIS RELATED TO BIBLE PROPHECY?

So what does this mean for us? Is this related to end-time events? Will it pass? Should we store up toilet paper, cleaning supplies, flu medicine, and hunker down in fear? What voices should we listen to? How seriously should we take the advice given by national and local leaders? How should the Church respond? 

First, to address the elephant in the room as it relates to end-time prophecy. We're not in the tribulation period. Scripture is clear that the rapture will occur first. That's not to say things won't get tough prior to the rapture. In fact Jesus taught in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13) that there would be birth pains leading up to (and ultimately into) the tribulation period. Also, THE tribulation is different from tribulation in general. Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we would have tribulation in this world (John 16:33). But, the judgments in the tribulation period will be progressively worse than anything the world has ever experienced. I believe what we are witnessing with COVID-19 is part of the birth pains Jesus talked about in the Olivet Discourse (referenced above). In fact, I think it is a major birth pain; as is the locust plague that is ravaging Africa and the Mideast; as is the large number of social uprisings in countries around he world; as is the increase in earthquake activity; as were the record-breaking Australian wild fires; as is...you get the picture. Birth pains increase in frequency and intensity, and they only increase until the moment of delivery.

This particular birth pain happens to be one that the entire world is feeling. Again, increased intensity. It's also a birth pain that has shaken all earthly things. Sports, financial markets, distractions, hobbies, concerts, you name it--have all been shut down. 

Those things aren't bad in themselves, but it's as if God is removing any distractions for a moment in history to plead with the world again,"Look up! Look to me! This world is temporary. Think about eternal things. I love you. I died for you. Please don't ignore me. Turn to me now while there is time."

I should also add that this is a pebble in the ocean compared to a yet-future global event that will rock the world to its core. If one rapidly spreading virus can cause this type of global disruption, can you imagine what the rapture will do when tens of millions are removed from the world in an instant? That singular event will set all the end-time events of John's Revelation into motion. 

There have been condensed periods of major supernatural events in the past--creation, the exodus, and the events surrounding the first coming of Jesus culminating with the resurrection. Now after roughly 200o years, we await another period of immense supernatural events which will begin with the rapture.Were it not for the hundreds of major prophecies that have already been fulfilled--including the rebirth of Israel and recent developments in Syria--this notion would be laughable. But I believe it will literally happen. Scripture is clear.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO NOW?

Here are a few things.

First, we should not live in fear. God is still in control. He's in control of the world, and in control of your life. He didn't cause COVID-19, but he allowed it. There is a paradox inherent in this discussion. God is sovereign, yet mankind still has free will.  God has told history in advance about where this is all headed, yet our freewill and the nature of the fallen world transpire in chronological fashion. Faith is required. Gods' promises are true, prophecy is real, world events are not random, this is all headed somewhere. Do not fear. Look up!

Second, we should look for new ways to leverage this moment to turn people to Christ. It may look different than 2 weeks ago. The truths of Bible prophecy are beginning to have meaning to a broader audience as the whole world senses these birth pains. 

Even the secular voices are becoming progressively more apocalyptic. The condition of the world is the elephant in the room. We need to be bold enough to talk about it from a Biblical (ie, accurate) perspective. Along with that, we should love others and meet needs at a time when most are fearful and need some encouragement.

Third, we should be responsible. Though we should not fear, we should heed wise advice and take the recommended precautions seriously. It's a chance for us to love our neighbor as our self. This pandemic forces us to get our eyes off of our own needs and onto the needs of others. 

During the worst moments of the initial outbreak, Chinese Christians from the underground church served victims of COVID-19 with grace, joy, and love. Because of such acts, the underground church in China continues to explode. What the enemy meant for evil, was turned to be used for good. The political division in our own country has even (momentarily) subsided a bit. 

Much like after 9/11, our country is (at least somewhat) joining together as one. I believe this will end once the major threat of COVID-19 has passed. Then (I believe) it will be globalists vs. nationalists at an even greater level.

Fourth, let this time of uncertainty draw you closer to God. If I can be completely real for a moment, the Lord has shown me several things the past few weeks that I need to work on. Nothing earth-shaking, but areas of my thinking and reactions that God has brought to the surface so I can turn them over to him. The closer I get to the Lord the more I realize how much I need him every day.

These are serious times--and we need to be ready. We need to be ready for whatever lies ahead--and we need to do so with courage, boldness, joy, and hope in a soon coming King. Everything else fades away in the bright light of His promised future return. 

We don't know the day or hour, but all Biblical indicators are that we could very well be the generation that experiences the rapture. What a privilege--and a burden--to be alive at this time in history. Are you ready? Why not put your trust in the only thing that is really stable?

Exo 6:9  And Moses said so to the sons of Israel. But they did not listen to Moses through anguish of spirit and through cruel bondage. 

The Lord has promised that India will come under the rule of Jesus Christ. He is rolling  everything in this nation towards His project: the Government, Judiciary, Reserve Bank, Parliament. Its members, Worship places,  the Church, Families, Financial system  etc,. He has not revealed His whole plan to anyone so far.  Till 2019 December some revelations were  given. Bit by bit, here and thereThose who  received it were running with  their full strength to achieve the target.

But from 2020 March, with the closure of the Churches, His plans became  more exposed!

The pandemic and lockdown has divided the society into two. Those who are called by God, His chosen ones, take it as a sign of the Lord’s visiting this Nation and His Church. Others hardened  their hearts.

When you take this good news of  India’s Liberation, to the people, they may not listen to you first. As the people of Israel did. There are 2 mountains to be smashed. 

1. Anguish of spirit. In another version of the Bible,  it is written, shortness of spirit. We are familiar with the word, “short sight”. Shortness of spirit is nothing but short sightedness. Because of the centuries old slavery,  exploitation,  squeezing manual labour, people have lost their God given caliber therefore they think and worry only about their livelihood.  It is our duty to give them hope about the future of India. Just like our freedom fighters of Independence War, wrote, spoke and composed songs about freedom, raised their mind and hearts towards an independent India, we have to motivate the people, to raise their head and look to a new India, ruled by Jesus Christ.
2. Cruel Bondage. People were under the cruel bondage of the  Egyptian Pharaoh. Today the  people are under the spiritual bondage of institutional Churches. Like Pharaoh, the rulers suppress them, never allow them to grow in their spiritual gifts or to start Troop Churches in the houses. The Lord has delivered the people already. Let thank God.

Our role is that of Moses. We  must go on motivating the people. 

 Look at the huge  buildings built for Churches in the cities and towns lying waste for the past six months! The prophecy the Lord has given in 2006 has been fulfilled!

1 Sa 2:36  And everyone who is left in your house shall come to implore him for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread and shall say, “Please put me in one of the priests' places, that I may eat a morsel of bread.” . 

Neverthless we  should go on telling them incessantly about the plans of the Lord for India.

        Our bodies are members of Christ. Therefore we cannot take His members and make them the members of a harlot.

4. We are one in Spirit with the Lord

         As we are one in Spirit with the Lord, we cannot have any other union other than the holy union which is with the flesh and bones of Christ and our own partner.

* 5. Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit*

         Our body is the temple of Holy Spirit. We received Him from God and He resides within us. Being the temple, we ought to diligently take care not to defile our body at any cost. Of all sins, our vigilance should be more against sexual sins, as all other sins remain outside the body but the sexual sin directly corrupts the holiness of our body defiling the temple . One has to be always alert and awake to flee from any situation that has the tendency to tempt.

* 6. We are accountable for the body given to us *

         We are accountable for whatever we have received from God. It’s not only true for talents, possessions and responsibilities but also true for the body we received from Him. By mistreating or abusing our own body with wrong habits or provoking others sexually with our body, we become unaccountable. Holiness is the only accountability permissible by God.

* 7. We are not our own, we are bought with a price for God*

         We are not the owners of our body as God has already spent a huge price Jesus Christ to purchase us and make His own. All those which belong to Him will glorify nothing other than Him. Therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit which are His.

God has given man authority over all His creations, but no authority, no freedom over his own body! God has kept man’s body for Himself!

Man is left with no choice rather surrendering the body holy to the Holy one to whom it belongs!

He said this to test him

John 6:5-9 Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”    He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.   Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”   One of his disciples, Andrew, Sim on Peter's brother, said to him,   “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” 

Every word that comes out of our tongue is a manifestation of our faith.

Jesus is asking a question to test His disciple Philip.

“Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”   

Two disciples answered and the answers were affluent with disbeliefs.

Note the words they uttered.

1. Would not be enough
2. To get a little
3. What are they for so many?

Word has power to kill or to give life.

Suppose you want to kill a snake. You bring a stick and hit it. At the first beat it may not die. It might be wounded. The second beat may bring a little more damage to its body. Slowly in every beat, it loses its strength, and finally dies. 

The negative words we utter have the same impact.  It slowly step by step kills a person or strengthens the activity of satan.

Suppose you pass a comment about your Constituency

 “My constituency is full of idols.”

By this word, one is strengthening the activity of satan  there. It will only confirm the existence of the spirits ofidol worship and will empower satanic hold there. It has the ultimate effect of our allowing him to be there. (It is already there. What is the need of passing a comment like this?)

On the contrary, if you pass a statement,

“I am going to cast away the spirit of idols from my Constituency”.

Satan will become scared of you and the words you uttered.

This is resisting him. Obeying the instructions of the Bible

 Jas 4:7  ......Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 

For the second time, you utter the same words

“I am going to cast away the spirit of idols from my Constituency”.

It becomes a threat to satan.

By the time you utter the same word for the third time, he will start packing up. He will be aware that a soldier with power and authority has entered into his fortress. 

 Every word that comes out of our mouth   has tremendous power like atom bombs.

It can make the satanic forces flee from your Constituency.

Never make unnecessary,   negative comments on anything.

Mat 12:36-37 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” 

By the utterance of our mouth, you may kill a person, a plant, a firm, a village, a department, a nation, a family, an estate, a system or anything in this world.

At the same time a word that comes out of our mouth has the power to give life.  It can give life to a man, woman, a dead body, a cell, a heart, any organ of human beings, a dead person,  a dead tree, a dead court case, a dead department, a dead institution, a dead nation, a dead Church, a dead etc.

What is this power? How does it work?

In the utterance of the disciples, 3:1 is the ratio. Those are three negative utterances and one positive.

One positive word uttered was powerful enough to cancel the other 3 negatives. Then the miracle happened.
