CONDITIONS OF THE HEART
NEGATIVE CONDITIONS OF THE HEART
- HALE HEARTED: 2 Chro 25:1-2 says Amaziah did what was right the Lord’s sight but not wholeheartedly. We might do the right in things but if our heart is not right, God is not pleased. God looks at the intent of the heart.
- PROUD HEART: (Ps. 101:5) God despises the proud but gives grace to the humble.
How to know that we have a proud heart?

- If we have an opinion about everything, then we have pride.
- If we have a ‘know it all’ attitude and can’t be corrected (Pro 9:8,9, Pro. 12:1, 15. Pro 5:10).
- If we rebel against authority, we have pride
- If we want to take credit and all glory, we have pride (2 Chro. 32:22,23)
- PRESUMPTUOUS HEART: (Deu 17:12-13) A presumptuous person is one who has disrespect for authority. He ventures without positive permission and is arrogant, too confident, and unreasonably bold. They talk where they should be quiet and listen. We must have a teachable and submissive heart.
- DESPISING HEART: This is a person who always detests, hates, abhors, and disregards other people and things with contempt.
- OFFENDED, BITTER, AND UNFORTUNATE HEART: Pro: 14:10 People who are hurt will hurt others. If bitterness is not healed, it is very dangerous. It is like a person who drinks the poison and expects the other person to die. An offended and bitter person will not have the peace of God, nor hear the voice of God, nor be led by the Holy Spirit, and will not experience the joy of salvation.
- WOUNDED HEART: Ps. 109:22 In the Old Testament when a priest had a wound, he would not minister. If due to hurt, a person harbours grief and pain and has no victory in himself how will he be able to bring victory to somebody else’s situation.
- FAINT HEART: (Deu 20:1,4,8) These types of people give up very easily. When things get tough, the first thing they think is to quit. Pro. 24:10. A faint-hearted person gets discouraged and disappointed easily and is a touchy person. The Lord has said that in this world we will have adversity, trials, and tribulations but has also promised us help and strength in times of need.
- 8. CONDEMNED HEART: Righteousness is right standing in the presence of God without guilt or an inferiority complex. 1 Jn 1:7-9 tells us that once we seek forgiveness for our sins, the blood of Jesus cleanses us all unrighteousness. If despite being forgiven, we hold onto condemnation, we individually say that the blood of Jesus has no power to forgive and cleanse. A condemned heart steals our confidence to come before God.
POSITIVE HEART CONDITIONS
- A WILLING HEART: A heart that says, “I will to do”. It is a powerful saying which will bring results in your life.
- A STIRRED HEART (2 Tim 1:6) God is wanting our hearts to be stirred and not into deadness. To have a stirred heart, we must quit hanging with lifeless people. We have to be around people who are zealous, passionate, and have a vision. The fire in our hearts should always be burning, and we have to fan the fire with the word of God coming out of our mouths in the form of prayer, praise, and confession.
- A WISE HEART: (Exo 28:3) No matter how gifted and talented we are, if we want to succeed, we need wisdom and common sense. Wisdom shows in our lives in the way we talk, act, handle money, and meet our responsibilities.
- A PERFECT HEART (Chr. 16:9) It means to have a desire in our heart to do right and please God. These people love God. Even though they make a mistake, they are quick to repent. If they have done wrong to somebody, they will humble and apologize.
- A TENDER HEART: (Eph 4:32) It is dangerous to develop a hard heart or a severed conscience because we will then lose sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and not know where we are wrong.
- A FAITHFUL HEART: (Heb 3:1,2) This person is dependable and trustworthy. He or she will keep his word. If we say something and we don’t keep it, our spirit knows us, and will not trust us when we speak to any mountains in our life or others. No matter how gifted or talented we are if we are not faithful, God cannot use us.
- A MERRY HEART: (Pro. 17:22) A merry heart is like a medicine but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
- FORGIVING HEART: (Mat 18:21,22) We freely accept mercy, we must also freely release mercy to others. The debt we owe to God is far greater than what others owe to us. Forgiveness releases anointing.
- OPEN HEART (Acts 16:14) We should have an open heart to learn and receive new things and revelations from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. If we have a closed and narrow mind, we will not be able to receive and learn new things and grow.
- BELIEVING HEART (Mat. 13:58, 8:13) Jesus said all things shall be done for you if you believe.
- PURE HEART: (Mat 5:8) Pure in heart will see God. Ps. 51:6. God desires truth in the heart (inner being) A pure-hearted person pays attention to his thoughts and life also.

On behalf of Dharmapuri, sister Elizabeth, and her constituency SMLA submitted a petition to the heavenly court that rainwater is flowing into the sea in vain, and to stop this, the government should establish rainwater collection tanks in each place or tanks which are constructed should be cleaned and use them for agriculture. The Lord revealed that He would turn the rocky mountain into a pool of water and the rock into springs. The Lord has answered our prayer by cleaning the rainwater tanks for agriculture. Praise the Lord!

2023 WILL OFFICIALLY BE THE HOTTEST YEAR ON RECORD, SCIENTISTS REPORT
Earth’s temperature was off the charts this year, and scientists just confirmed what much of the planet already felt coming: 2023 will officially be the hottest year on record.
The analysis from the European Union’s Copernicus Climate Change Service found this year’s global temperature will be more than 1.4 degrees Celsius warmer than pre-industrial levels — close to the 1.5-degree threshold in the Paris climate agreement, and beyond which scientists say humans and ecosystems will struggle to adapt.
Every month since June has been the hottest such month on record, and November piled on. The month was roughly 1.75 degrees warmer than pre-industrial levels, and two days soared beyond 2 degrees, worrying scientists about what this means for the planet in the coming years.
The report comes as delegates from more than 150 countries are in Dubai for COP28, the UN’s annual climate summit, where the discussion over whether to phase out planet-warming fossil fuels has been heated.
“The timing could not be more urgent,” Brenda Ekwurzel, director of climate science at the Union of Concerned Scientists, who is not involved with the report, told CNN.
“Wealthy and high-emitting countries, which have contributed the most to this record-breaking year,” she added, “have a greater responsibility to make a fair, fast, and funded phase-out of fossil fuels to help limit the increasing extreme weather and climate change impacts.”
Scientists have said 2023’s exceptional warmth is the result of the combined effects of El Niño and human-caused climate change. A series of deadly heat waves and remarkable record-breaking temperatures have hit several continents this year, while unprecedented ocean heat blanketed much of the globe.
Fall in the Northern Hemisphere this year was the warmest on record around the world “by a large margin,” according to Copernicus. November was also wetter than average across most of Europe, with Storm Ciarán bringing heavy rain and floods to many regions including Italy.
As temperatures crank higher into the next year, the world appears to be on track to breach 1.5 degrees of warming on a longer-term basis in the coming years. While it’s worrisome global warming is exceeding that temperature for months at a time, scientists are particularly concerned the planet will stay above 1.5 degrees for the long term.
Through 2022, Earth had warmed around 1.2 degrees — and the past few years have made it abundantly clear that the world are already feeling alarming effects of the climate crisis that many are not prepared for.
A separate report released Tuesday from the World Meteorological Organization found the decade between 2011 and 2020 was the hottest on record for the planet’s land and oceans as the rate of climate change “surged alarmingly” and “turbo charged” dramatic glacier loss and sea-level rise during this period.
“As long as greenhouse gas concentrations keep rising, we can’t expect different outcomes from those seen this year,” Copernicus Director Carlo Buontempo said. “The temperature will keep rising and so will the impacts of heatwaves and droughts.”
