Continuation from the previous issue…
In the fields where they are placed by the Lord, they are shining as lights.The Army of Jesus didn’t keep them all under one organization. In this, the Lord made AOJ a Model Church to the world. Soldiers have complete freedom to do ministry in any field as the Spirit of God directs them.
Jesus knew that all the 12 disciples were given to Him by the Father. He made it clear in His prayer.
John 17:6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.
But Jesus gave them full freedom to go away from Him. They were not under any compulsion.
After listening to the hard words Jesus uttered, many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.
So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”
This is the difference between the real Church of Jesus Christ and the false duplicate Church. There the members will be forced to remain in the organization. They will go to any extreme and resort to any measures not to lose them.
Remaining in and with Jesus is always a choice offered to every human being.
Act 17:26-27 …. having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.
AOJ does not use any measures to make anyone dependent on itself. Except for the training and true fellowship, it has nothing worldly to offer to its soldiers.
Hence dear soldiers, Let us
(Col 3:12-16) Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

HEAVY RAIN POUNDS DELHI, ROADS WATERLOGGED AS MONSOON ARRIVES IN CAPITAL
The monsoon has arrived in the national capital, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday, as heavy rain pounded Delhi, bringing the city to a halt and leaving several roads inundated.
The IMD said the southwest monsoon further advanced into parts of west Rajasthan, the remaining parts of east Rajasthan, some parts of Haryana, entire Delhi, and some more parts of west Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi received 150 mm of rainfall in three hours between 2.30 am to 5.30 am in one of the wettest spells the capital has recorded this year. The city's main observatory in Safdarjung recorded 228 mm of rain in the past 24 hours.
A portion of the roof of Delhi airport's Terminal-1 collapsed amid heavy rain, killing one person and injuring four others.
Many areas have been waterlogged, and water entered houses in several low-lying areas. The movement of traffic has been hit, with many stranded on the road due to waterlogging.
Mathrua Road, Teen Murti Marg, Moolchand, Minto Road, Anand Vihar, Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Mandawali, Bhikaji Cama Place, Madhu Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Munirka, Dhaula Kuan, Moti Bagh, ITO, and several sectors in the Noida area are among the many areas that are waterlogged.
Traffic police announced diversions in many areas. Key roads, including Delhi Meerut Highway, Naraina-Moti Bagh road near Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Vir Banda Bairagi Marg at Azad Market underpass, Tilak Bridge, Aurobindo Marg, Anuvrat Marg, ITO, and many roads leading to AIIMS, were flooded, and police advised commuters to take alternate routes.
At the Azad Market underpass, a passenger bus broke down, and the commuters were rescued and taken to safer places.
Several vehicles were seen stuck on submerged roads and underpasses in the city during the morning rush hour.
Delhi Metro service operations were also affected due to heavy rains. Entry/exit gates have been closed at Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector - 25 Metro station and the shuttle service from Delhi Aerocity Metro station to Terminal 1-IGI Airport has been suspended, the Metro officials said.
Meanwhile, accusing the Delhi government of not preparing for the monsoon, BJP Councillor Ravinder Singh Negi rowed an inflatable boat as a symbolic protest against the Delhi Government. "All PWD drains are overflowing. They weren't cleaned ahead of the monsoon. This has led to waterlogging...Vinod Nagar has submerged," he said.
Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi countered the claims by saying that the situation has improved since last year. She added that the authorities have identified waterlogging points and are undertaking on-ground work to prevent flooding.
"The situation is far better than the last time. In a way, this is the first rain of monsoon. All such points have been identified today. All departments and officers are working on the ground and work is underway at all locations that are affected by waterlogging. People of Delhi won't face this situation after today," Mayor Oberoi said.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Government called an emergency meeting at 2 pm today at Delhi Secretariat, over heavy rainfall and waterlogging. All ministers and officers from departments concerned have been directed be present at the meeting.
Rain is likely to continue in the city as Delhi expects the monsoon's arrival. The India Meteorological Department stated on Thursday that conditions are likely to become favourable for the advancement of the southwest monsoon in Delhi during the next two to three days.
