Jer 14:21 Do not abhor us, for your name’s sake. Do not disgrace the throne of your glory. Remember, and don’t break your covenant with us.

Here we see how prophet Jeremiah pleaded for the land and his people in the heavenly court. This will serve as a model for us.

In Jeremiah chapter 14 we see a beautiful dialogue taking place between God and prophet Jeremiah.

The land of Judah was struck by a severe drought. Jeremiah as a prophet appeared in the court of heaven to bring this issue to the notice of the Lord. The Lord gave a reply.

Jer 14:1 This is Yahweh’s word that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought. Instead of Jeremiah bringing a survey report to the Lord, The Lord Himself gives a clear chart and graph about what He has sent on the land.

Below is a clear picture of the areas which are affected by the drought and its magnitude.

Ordinary people: Jer 14:2 “Judah mourns, and its gates languish. They sit in black on the ground. The cry of Jerusalem goes up.
Nobles: Jer 14:3 Their nobles send their little ones to the waters. They come to the cisterns, and find no water. They return with their vessels empty. They are disappointed and confounded, and cover their heads.
Farmers: Jer 14:4 Because of the ground which is cracked, because no rain has been in the land, the plowmen are disappointed. They cover their heads.
Vegetation: Jer 14:5 Yes, the doe in the field also calves and forsakes her young, because there is no grass.
Wild animals: Jer 14:6 The wild donkeys stand on the bare heights. They pant for air like jackals. Their eyes fail, because there is no vegetation.

Yahweh brings three accusations filed against the people of Judah in the Heavenly Court by satan. As a result, the trial takes place in the court. Let’s see the resolutions arrived at by Yahweh.

They loved to wander away from God.

Jer 14:10 Yahweh says to this people, “Even so they have loved to wander. They have not restrained their feet. Therefore Yahweh does not accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity, and punish them for their sins.”

No more appeal to be made for the people.

Jer 14:11 Yahweh said to me, “Don’t pray for this people for their good.

No recommendation by Jeremiah will be accepted.

Jer 14:12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and meal offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”

Now Jeremiah asked for certain clarifications from the court.

Jer 14:13 Then I said, “Ah, Lord Yahweh! Behold, the prophets tell them, ‘You will not see the sword, neither will you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.’”

The Lord answered.

Jer 14:14 -17 Then Yahweh said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

Jer 14:15 Therefore Yahweh says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, but I didn’t send them, yet they say, ‘Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ Those prophets will be consumed by sword and famine.

Jer 14:16 The people to whom they prophesy will be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword. They will have no one to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, or their daughters, for I will pour their wickedness on them.

Jer 14:17 “You shall say this word to them: “‘Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous wound.

Jeremiah using his authority of a spokesman for God, still, is persuading the Lord. He acknowledged the sins of the people of the land. He is pleading with God not to break the covenant made with them. He admits there is no other God who can give rain. He concludes telling that we will wait for you.

Jer 14:21 Do not abhor us, for your name’s sake. Do not disgrace the throne of your glory. Remember, and don’t break your covenant with us.

Jer 14:22 Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the sky give showers? Aren’t you he, Yahweh our God? Therefore we will wait for you; for you have made all these things.

In the process of establishing God’s kingdom in the Nation India, the Lord is raising an Army to fight for His kingdom against satan and his kingdom. Congratulations on dedicating yourself to register your name to be the frontline warrior of The Army of Jesus. As you know,

“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”. Ephesians 6:12

I would like to remind you of your first and foremost duties of being a soldier in The Army of Jesus Christ. .

Duties of Individual Soldiers:

Daily prayer for 2.30 hours( Time for securing protection as well as for receiving commands from the Lord)
Attending or Conducting weekly Troop Church
Proclaim the Gospel daily to at least two persons directly or through mail, phone etc. (Introducing Jesus to two new persons or motivating 2 believers/Christians with the manna verse for the day.
Start a new troop in 2 months.

Duties of the members during Troop Church gathering

All the 10 soldiers have a role to play, each one to perform one of the following in turn:

Introduction& Welcome- 1 min.
Opening prayer- 2 min.
Pledge (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) - 2 min.
Worship- 30 min.
Message- 30 min.
Prayer for Troop members & other intentions - 20 min.
Sharing testimonies of last week- 20 min
Planning for the next week etc.- 5 min
Concluding prayer and (Ps 144:1) - 2 min
Preparing Report & sending - 5 min

During the time of sharing, the Troop Leader should make each one share invariably and instruct them about the duties of individual soldiers mainly their personal prayer (2.30 hours).

God gave a vision on 3 December 2022 during north family fellowship to start Fullness of Christ Bible College lon 17 January 2023.

We shared this information to all on the last week of December 2022.I submitted the plan to the Lord at night of January 4th,2023. By the immense grace of God we started FC College batch 1 and the whatsApp group was created around 12 o'clock on 5th January 2023. 48 students registered for the college.Finally we selected around 30 students out of 48. African penguins are being ‘trapped’ by climate change

Climate change and overfishing off Africa’s southern tip have set a “trap” for endangered African penguins leaving their nests.

The young penguins swim thousands of miles from where they hatched, following biological signposts advertising a buffet of anchovies and sardines. What they don’t realize is the buffet seems to have closed.

When the birds arrive, their favorite food is almost gone, replaced by less nutritious gobies and jellyfish. This is what scientists call an “ecological trap,” in which animals mistakenly settle in habitats degraded by environmental changes.

A new study in Current Biology describes a recently discovered trap off the coast of South Africa and Namibia that has likely reduced local penguin populations by 50% and hurt juvenile birds’ chances of survival.

The research team, led by ecologist Richard Sherley of the University of Exeter, attached satellite trackers to 54 young penguins from colonies across the species’ breeding range in Namibia and South Africa. When the birds are old enough, they tend to disperse westward and northward.

The penguins follow the sure signs of edible fish: low ocean temperatures and the scent of plankton.

“These were once reliable cues for prey-rich waters, but climate change and industrial fishing have depleted forage fish stocks in this system,” the study authors wrote.

In Namibia, penguins are instead finding more gobies and jellyfish. Though these substitutes are edible, they don’t provide as many calories.

In recent decades, warming ocean temperatures and changes in salinity have also pushed traditional prey east, out of range for penguins living west of Cape Agulhas, Africa’s southernmost tip. This has triggered an 80% decline in the western penguin population.

Losing the fish has essentially broken a link in the middle of the food chain. This causes a “mismatch” in the ecosystem, in which penguins get faked out when they find lots of plankton but no fish.

Young penguins must learn to forage for themselves, and it may take them years to fully get the hang of finding their food. During this vulnerable period, they’re at risk of choosing the wrong habitat or falling into an ecological trap.

This is exactly what seems to be happening. Between 1978 and 2015, Namibia’s penguin population declined from more than 12,000 breeding pairs to about 5,800. In South Africa, the population shrank from 70,000 to 19,300 in the same time period, according to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

To ease the burden on the birds, Sherley and colleagues suggest limiting fishing in penguin areas when fish populations fall below critical thresholds.
