You have found favor with God

Luk 1:30 “You have found favor with God.’

The Lord says, You have found favor with God.

You may be wondering, “I have not done anything for the Lord than others. How do I find favour in the sight of God”

The above verse was said to Mary, a young girl, who lived in Nazareth. Nothing is said about her past history, about her family, lineage, etc. All that is said is,

Lk 1:26-27 ‘...... ...the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph.”

Let’s see the other persons who found favour with God in Bible

Noah Gen 6:8 Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
Moses Exo 33:12 “you have also found favor in my sight.”
David Act 7:46 ....who found favor in the sight of God ..

All these 3 servants of God, Noah, Moses and David each one has an unequivalent history in the Bible . They gained a name because of their services to God.

How did Mary who has done nothing came among this list of those “who found favour with God”

Only one verse is written in Bible, by Isaiah about a virgin.

Isa 7:14 “.......Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel”.

Bible does not say anything about how Mary achieved this position of “that virgin” mentioned in Isaiah 7:14.

One thing is proved here. It is not by deeds, but by God’s calling and selection that a person finds favour with God. This is how you too, found favour with God.

Finding favour in the eyes of God means the following 7 things .

Hereafter He will not take into account your shortcomings, sins, transgressions, violations, etc.
You will be given priority and preference by God in everything.
You will be distinguished above all others in rank, just like Daniel was appointed over 120 satraps,
He has elevated your status in His Kingdom & You are selected you to build up His Kingdom..
You are given heavenly hosts to escort you wherever you go.
Since you are selected as the bride of Jesus Christ, you have special privileges everywhere.
The Lord will see that none of your words will fall to the ground . God will take the responsibility of fulfilling them as He did with Samuel.

SOL.DHARSHINI, from Trichy, testified that she was blessed by this class. Her husband had bad habits like drinking and smoking. She had been going through some problems with her husband. SOL.GLORY from Chennai suffered from stomach pain for the past three months. Br.Rajan prayed for her during the intercessory prayer. From that evening onwards, she didn’t get any pain. Yehowah Raphah.

She had a lots of problems in her family. Her husband does not like to pray. But the word of God shared by sister Sheeba really strengthened her a lot. She was even worried about her son’s education. But all her worries gone away. I felt God is there for me. He is a great comforter. I feel blessed.

SOL.PREMA from Tirunelveli, suffered due to water scarcity in the previous house. She gave this as a prayer request. God heard the prayers and made them to shift to a new house with good water facility. Thanks be to the Lord.

SOL.ROSELINE from Ooty, gave a prayer request for her brother in law who met with an accident and admitted in the hospital in Madurai. Everyone prayed for him. By God’s grace, he slowly recovered and out of danger. Thanks be to the Lord.

SOL.RAJAN from Coimbatore, gave a prayer request for his son to get a suitable job. Amazingly he got the job in his preferred area of interest. God heard the prayers. Our God is an AMAZING GOD.

Praise the Lord and glory to His name!

The Lighthouse Troop Church was one that was held for 8 weeks, starting 17th June 2021 to 5th

August 2021, every Thursday from 6 to 8pm. We were a total of 10 members, with most of them from the North East of India.

The Lighthouse Troop Church was conducted by Leisha Sequeira with Apila Sangtam.

Throughout the course of the troop, we enjoyed the privilege of having fellowship, intercede and grow together in Christ. There were a few members who were new to the concept of a troop church and were grateful to be part of one since here they testified to have experienced the presence of God, His peace and Oneness in the Body. They sensed an immediate difference in the way church was being done and the way church should be done. Every Thursday felt like fellowshipping with a family (despite none of us having physically met or even seen each other).

Responsibilities were distributed and rotated every week with all having a chance to worship, pray, share the word and intercede. Each member has come out bolder, stronger and hungrier for Christ.

On 5th of August 2021, we culminated this troop with an anointing session and had God individually speak to each of us. We received visions of angels descending on the members who were seated together in a circle, holding hands. We saw an eagle who was seated strong and bold, ready for flight. We also received visions of the dove, symbolic of the Holy Spirit and of rivers of fire; the refining fire of God.

We’ve been blessed more than we could express and hungrier than we’ve been since we started off.

There are two new troops being born out of Lighthouse that will commence in the coming week i.e. The Raphael Troop Church mainly for those with psychological help concerns by Neelam Sharma, and a Youth Troop by Lavisha and Yangkina.

National Worship Coordinating team has been directed to collect any revelation/inspiration received during worship, (either in personal/troop prayer atmosphere).

We are expected to report these revelations every Sunday, scheduled meeting online.

We need to prayerfully move ahead asking the Lord for further directions to bring Divine Governance in our midst.

Revelations in 2 Kings 6

When Elisha and the sons of prophets decided to go to Jordan and build a dwelling there, the iron axe-head of one of them fell into water while cutting wood.

4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

(2 Kings 6:4-5)

Borrowed axe head: It symbolises the sorrows given to us by others. Their harshness, injustices, atrocities etc. are like an iron axe head which press us down, do not allow us to come to the surface and breathe the fresh air of freedom.

6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

(2 Kings 6:6)

Iron did swim: Can we solve our problems with our own efforts? Can we take out the iron from the bottom of water by making arduous efforts? But where is the help we need? Word of God is like a stick which Elisha cast in the water. The result was that the iron floated contrary to the laws of nature and science! Similarly, laborious efforts and powers of the world cannot solve our problems.

We need to trust our Heavenly Father to take the ‘iron’ out of our lives by simply trusting Him that He is leading us through a perfect plan.

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

(1 Peter 5:7)

Divine Courage and Lord’s Forgiveness Reflected

Elisha had visionary powers which served to defeat every plan which the Syrians made to besiege Israel.

So, the King of Syria sent a host of troops to capture him. When Elisha’s servant informed him of the approaching troops, he was not at all moved or afraid.

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

(2 Kings 6:16)

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

(1John4:4)

Elisha used his power of prayer to make them all blind. Then, he led them to Samaria promising to hand over their target (he himself) to them, which they were unaware of. Then, he offered another prayer to restore their eyes.

When the King of Israel asked Elisha to smite them, the latter not only asked him to forgive them but directed him to serve their enemies with bread and drink.

After feeding his enemies, he safely sent them away. And after that the Syrian bands didn’t come to Israel.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14)

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, (Luke 6:27)

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44)

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. (Luke 6:35)

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

The words of God are sweeter than honey! Also, they give us an everlasting taste unlike the taste of tangible food items.

Also, they are more precious than treasures of this world like diamond and gold. A true worshipper of the Lord would conveniently relinquish all the worldly affluence because His spiritual eyes are fixed on eternal and indestructible everlasting treasures as they elevate Him to Heavenly realms of glory. (Psalm 119:103, Psalm 19:10)

Tongue is one of our sense organs. It’s primary function is that it allows us to taste and discern various things. Just imagine if there was no tongue! There would be no treat to our senses through the means of food offered.

Here, the psalmist talks about the ‘spiritual tongue’ which the people of this world do not possess. They cannot discern and relish the taste of the Word of God.

What if I tell you that there is a most relishable dish which you have never tasted! Would you want to taste it? It is the Word of God. The best dishes of the world can be relished temporarily. But God’s Word has an everlasting taste and the more you taste it, the tastier it becomes. It has another quality. True believers ‘feast’ on the Word only to hunger for more! And this hunger can never be atiated and in the quest for it lies the real joy!

Once you trust the only true God and taste Him i.e. when you realize how He answers your prayers, performs miracles in your life, feel the ‘divine touch’ of His love, the invaluable worth of the sacrificial death of His Son, can anything be tastier than that? Once you taste these, you will overflow and your spiritual tongue will be overwhelmingly treated. All those who trust Him and take refuge in Him are happy, favoured and blessed. (Psalm 5:11-12)

Input= land, finance, talents, manpower, time, resources, willingness to do anything.
Output= how many have emerged as evangelists? The ultimate aim of any church is forming and sending evangelists. No church has ever achieved this target of sending out 100% believers.

How I grew in the walk with the Lord

As I started conducting many Troop Churches, Worship School – my spiritual life got completely changed. Since I was always entrusted with responsibilities it gave so much burden for the souls and also our Nation India.

How I was equipped to use their authority in ministry.

Through Doing Troop Churches. Seeing the outcomes and testimonies it made me to be in the Fire completely. Spending more time with the Lord alone and worshipping him as we need to spend two and half hours daily. Being a solider means we need to fight in a battle ground everyday.
I attended the APT and was prophetically activated – Here, I prophesied against two of Goa’s famous annual rave parties, i.e. Sunburn & Supersonic which attracted national and international crowds influencing youth towards drugs and alcoholism. Exactly the next month as I watched the local news on T.V the government of Goa announced a ban and denied permissions to the organizers of these parties.
That’s when I understood the potential of the authority Christ has given to His church and how the church hasn’t understood or utilized their potential.
I immediately started a troop church and we started multiplying troops in North Goa. In the troop church we saw miracles and immediate answers to prayer.
I was convinced that the troop church is the Lord’s approved pattern of church!

Bible prophecy: Middle East heading towards war with Israel, Christian conspiracists claim

BIBLE prophecies about the end of the world predict an all-out war in the Middle East between Israel and its foes. A Christian conspiracy blog has now claimed this prophetic war could already be brewing as a precursor to the promised Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Bible's chapters are chock-full of prophecies describing the final days before the promised Second Coming of the Messiah. Passages in the New Testament speak of wars and rumours of wars, natural cataclysms and the persecution of Christians in the End Days. Scripture in the Book of Revelation speaks of catastrophes that will befall the Earth when the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are set loose.

But the Bible also speaks of a devastating conflict that many believe could soon unfold in the Holy Land.

According to the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel, a host of nations will descent upon Israel in the End Days bearing shields and swords.

Ezekiel 38:4 reads: "I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army - your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords."

A Christian conspiracy blog known for its frequent doomsday predictions has now claimed Israel's neighbours could be drawn or "hooked" into a confrontation with Israel over its energy sector.

According to the blog Bible Prophecy - Signposts of the Times, Israel's recent diplomatic dealings in the Middle East and the signing of the Abraham Peace Accords are all part of a grand, biblical plan.

The blog's authors, Duane and Shelley Muir of Williams Lake, Canada, wrote: "The recent and ongoing Abraham Accords have given further impetus to drive forward the goal of reaching actual formal normalized relations between the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Perhaps even peace.

"This is now allowing for many opportunities in the region for economic growth; In particular with regard to the energy industry as new pipelines are being built or are being negotiated to be built.

"This would allow oil and natural gas to be shipped to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea, thus bypassing the hotly contested Persian Gulf, (which Iran regularly patrols)."

But what does any of this have to do with biblical prophecy?

The blog's authors believe the possibility of Israel's energy sector booming would make the nation a "juicy choice to plunder for wealth and booty", as per the prophecies of Ezekiel.

They wrote: "Many prophecy scholars have identified these nations to include, Iran, Turkey, Libya, Ethiopia, Sudan and several others with a major backer being Russia, (a present day ally of these nations).

"A hook will be set to drag these nations against Israel.

"That hook looks increasingly like a growing and very profitable Israeli energy sector."

The blog added: "We are very close to the end. The puzzle is nearly complete. The final pieces are finding their place."

Doomsday preachers and conspiracy theorists have claimed last year biblical prophecies were unfolding when Israel signed a peace deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The so-called Abraham Accords were interpreted by one Christian Evangelist as the first step towards the Covenant with Many.

According to the Bible, the covenant will be struck in the End Days, just before a seven-year period of strife known as the Great Tribulation.

There is, of course, no evidence beyond certain interpretations of scripture to suggest this will happen.

Many Christians also reject all attempts to try and predict the world's prophesied end.

According to Stephen Witmer, pastor of the Pepperell Christian Fellowship in Pepperell, Massachusetts, predicting the date of Christ's return goes against the ethos of the Christian faith.

He said: "When our waiting for Jesus is founded on God’s promise, we draw our confidence from the dependability of the one who has made the promise."
