    Spiritual Worship

Rom 12:1-2  I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. 

In order to worship the Lord, the first and foremost requirement is coming to the altar with a sacrifice.

The first time the word worship comes in Bible  is in Genesis 22.

Gen 22:5  Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.” 

We know that Abraham was not planning on going up the mountain to sing some songs with his son, Isaac. He was ascending the mountain to sacrifice his son. He planned to build an altar,  kill his son, and burn his body in  fire of the altar.  This was what Abraham meant when he told his servant that he was going to worship. That presents quite a different idea of worship than what we have today.

There would be a lot fewer "worship" services if we truly grasped the concept of worship! Worship is intimately connected to sacrifice. When we bring a sacrifice, we are worshiping, and when we worship we bring a sacrifice.

Abraham's sacrifice had to be made in a very specific way. It could not be brought just anywhere and anyhow. Sacrifices are brought to an altar. In Genesis 22. we see that Abraham  first built an altar, then placed the wood in order before laying his son on the altar. As he was about to kill his son, God stopped him and provided another sacrifice for him to offer. The key concept that we need to comprehend here, is that sacrifices are made at an altar. The altar is the defined place of worship and sacrifice.

Mat 5:23 says, When we  bring our offering (sacrifice) to the altar, if the Lord reminds you that some brother or sister has any grievance against you, we have to leave the sacrifice at the altar, to and get reconciled with  them and then come back to the altar to offer the sacrifice.

Mat 5:23-24  So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,  leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 

What is the altar here. It can be two places.

  1. Individually it is the human heart where our spirit communicates directly with God constantly. (Jn 14:23)
  2. Collectively it is the (Troop) Church which is the body of Jesus Christ which serves as an agency of God on earth. (1 Cor 3:16,17

Altar is a  dedicated place on the earth where a person would  specifically go to bring worship and sacrifices to God.

An altar served the purpose of portals to the realm of the spirit. (to be continued)

SHADOW PARLI

Shadow parliamentary meeting was held for the Tenkasi Constituency called Ten-Mizba .One sister participated in it. The good thing that happened the next day was that ,His work has begun in our area.God has begun to purify our area.The name of God is glorified.To God be the glory!

PERAMBALUR LOK SABHA TESTIMONY

Sol.Jaison Arnold: A few changes happened in my constituency during this time.

Here are the testimonies listed below:

  1. Good Roads are provided & Bridges are constructed.
  2. SIPCOT has been inaugurated. Chief Minister came and opened it.
  3. Morning Worship is going to be spread out through Legislative assembly segments.
  4. We are making appeals to the Heavenly Court on weekly b
  5. Heavenly Court appeal has been made for the Army soldiers as well.
  6. Farming has been expanded in all fields.

I glorify God for these few snippets in my constituency.

PRAYER ANSWERED

Prayed for revival of employment opportunities in Trichy especially Thuvakudi Industrial Estate .Prayer was answered.Many sick companies in Thuvakudy have been restarted, has opened up for many job opportunities enlightening many families.

CENTRAL CHENNAI TESTIMONIES

  1. Sol.Beulah a member of Hannah troop reserved person (teacher) in nature became bold during this troop church training now has received an award from Hello TV.
  2. Sol.Prabavathy Vijay troop member prayed for a neighbour near her house (TIP) who had severe myalgia for months was healed instantly.
  3. Sol.Robin a troop member is attending BFF seeing marked change in his life.
  4. Healing school was done in Omalur, Selam. Members of Hannah troop taught in the session.
  5. Rain water system works are almost over in central Chennai and even during rain last week water got drained quickly.
  6. Medical camps conducted in Kanchipuram.Around 120 North Indians were given gospel through medical camp.

In Arokkonam Constituency

  • “Heavenly Dew” Troop Church was started on 20th July, dispersed on 3rd Sep with Anointing.Two Troop Churches branched from it.
  • "Holy Splendour "Troop Church was conducted in English by Sol.Lakshmi smla, Sholingur on 3rd September.
  • 24th September No.of new troop members joined in troop: 5 nos.
  • Vanaththin Vaasal I on 8th Sep & Vanaththin Vaasal II on 13th Two troop churches were conducted by Sol.Vimala Grace smla,Arcot.

BFF (BE FORMED AND FORM)

BFF batch 701 was conducted in Manapparai.

DAVID SCHOOL OF WORSHIP

David school of worship was conducted on December 3, 2022 in Manapparai.

FRP LEVEL -1 (Forgiveness and Reconciliation Programme )

FRP Level 1 was conducted on 10.12.22 at Thillai Nagar, Trichy. 4 Teachers handled classes.13 Participants attended.

NAZARETH SCHOOL OF FAMILY BUILDING

NIGHT PRAYER

We had prayed for the period of TET exam application to be extended in the June month night prayer. Lord answered the next day, 10 days extended to submit application.

BETHESDA SCHOOL OF HEALING

  • Obstacles removed to study Ph.D after prayer in TC.
  • Missing Girl from family returns after prayer.
  • Peace between husband & wife (Poongkodi ) brought about after prayer.
  • Prayer was undertaken for Sis.Jothi who is in ICU in June month Night prayer. She was healed completely  & discharged from hospital. GLORY to God .
  • Sol Layanya : when she was returning home by two wheeler , a drunken men in two wheeler dashed against her vehicle.  Big sound heard. She cried to Jesus In louder voice. God answered her prayer , she was not hurt , but man was wounded, prayed for his recovery. Glory to God.

JEREMIAH SCHOOL OF PROPHECY TESTIMONY

  • Sol Angel: It helped me to grow and to make others spiritualgrow by strong.My favourite classes were heavenly court and decoree writing.God has spoken through his words.I had a lot of doubts before and now it became clear.
  • Sol Josphine: I learnt a lot about the gift of Prophecy.I loved all the classes.This class gave me the confidence to fight against the devil's activity with the presence of God.

CHILDREN BIBLE SCHOOL (CBS)

Pattern of class

  1. A specific pattern will be followed in each class. The pattern is given below.
  2. Every Sunday 2 hours will be allotted for Children Bible School.
  3. Out of this first 1 hour will be Troop Church. All the items except "Sharing the Word(Message) will be there.Since the latter one hour will be spent in learning from the Bible, it will serve the purpose of the Message in Troop Church.

Be Formed and Form (BFF)

Be Formed and Form is a 5 day short term course. As per Eph 4:11-13, it perfects the saints,  for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, ………until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; The Lord wants the Church to be transformed according to Eph 5:26, 27 to make her holy, (cleansing her by the washing with water through the word), and to present her as a radiant Church. Anyone who pays careful attention to Scripture has a bittersweet relationship with current affairs. It seems that each day brings news of turmoil, wars, diseases, economic collapse, and heartache. Even so, these disasters indicate that Jesus' Second Coming is drawing near.

Like Jesus' disciples (Matthew 24:3), we wonder what is in store for this world. What will happen? The Bible lays out an enthralling picture. At least one-fifth of His Word is prophecy. The Second Coming is mentioned 318 times in the New Testament's 260 chapters. Obviously, this is not a doctrine to ignore; God desires us to know about Christ's return.

With the book of Revelation as a guide, it is possible to construct a timeline of the Last Days and view each day through the lens of prophecy.

The Rapture: To Take His Church to Be With Him

Christ's coming is imminent; all the prophecies which must be fulfilled before His return are completed. He will descend with a shouted command, the voice of an angel, and the trumpet of God. All believers, living and dead, will suddenly meet the Lord in the air.

Like an eager bride, the Church waits for the final culmination of her union with her Groom.

The Tribulation: Unrestrained Evil

The moment after the Rapture, the Spirit of God will remove any restraining influence on earth so that things will be far, far worse than even today. The seven-year Tribulation Period will see the climax of worsening conditions, the anger of God against the wicked, and the signs of Christ's coming in judgment. Believers alive at the Rapture will miss those seven horrible years.

The Second Coming: To Judge the World

The Antichrist will rule wickedly. But just when it seems there is no hope, when the bottom is finally reached and evil rules, the Second Coming will finally come about and God's Son

will dethrone the Beast.

The Millennium: To Rule the World

The word Millennium simply means "one thousand years." During those ten centuries of righteousness, Christ will rule on earth from His capital in Jerusalem. To add to the excitement, John tells us that the followers of Christ will rule with Him.

A New Heaven and a New Earth

Although the physical properties of the new heaven and the new earth are not described in detail, what we are told is enough to fill us with hope and joy.
