Joy of the Lord is your strength
In my life there was a time when fear was harassing me all the 24 hours. Even though I was appointed in a high position, a reasonless fear used to haunt me. After I came to know Jesus closer, the fear left me and I started enjoying a kind of freedom and deliverance. I achieved this slowly. It was not an all of a sudden change. I learned fighting with this fear. When ‘fear’ harassed me, I used to say to myself,
“I will not be afraid, because Jesus has told me ‘do not fear and I will obey him’. ‘Nothing in this world can frighten me because Jesus is inside of me. He has overcome the world. He can handle any situation. I am having the ‘Victor of the world’ with me.
I do not know when “fear” left me completely, but I started experiencing the ‘Joy of being with Jesus”. I got the confidence that I can face anything in this world, anybody and any situation. Nothing can overtake me. I will overtake everything with Jesus. It gave me immense joy.
Thus ‘Joy’ became my strength. I can face life, everything that come across my life. This ‘Joy’ of having Jesus in me makes me the greatest ‘heavy weight champion’ in the world.

Australia Considers New Religious Freedom Bill following Firing of Christian Rugby Player
A proposal in Australia would protect people who express their faith outside of the workplace.
According to Reuters, the proposed legislation comes just a few months after Rugby Union International’s Israel Folau was fired from his post for posting on social media that hell awaited “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolaters.”
Attorney-General Christian Porter said the legislation would allow Australians to express their faith on places like social media as long as the comments do not cause financial damage to their employer.
“Australia has a strong anti-discrimination framework with specific protections for people against discrimination on the basis of their age, sex, race and disability,” Porter said in a speech in Sydney.
“This draft bill released today extends those protections to provide protection for people against discrimination on the basis of their religion or religious belief, or lack thereof.”
The legislation will be introduced into parliament in October. The proposal does not address whether religious schools may hire and fire staff based on marital status and sexual orientation. Supporters of religious schools believe that the law should mandate those rights for religious schools.
“The situation is seen as urgent by many and it has been deferred,” said Michael Kellahan, the executive director of Freedom for Faith – a Christian legal think-tank.
“It would have been nice to have some leadership on this,” he added.
Folau filed a suit for an unfair dismissal case against Rugby Australia and the New South Wales Waratahs club in June. His case will go to trial in February 2020 unless a settlement is reached before then.
Folau made his comments in April regarding a decision in Tasmania to allow the issuing of gender optional birth certificates. He said in a tweet, “the devil has blindsided so many people in this world, REPENT and turn away from your evil ways.”
He added, “those that are living in Sin will end up in Hell unless you repent.”
Skydiver Survives 200-Foot Fall following Mid-Air Collision, Says Jesus Saved His Life
A skydiver says he fully trusted God when he and another skydiver collided with each other mid-air in a 2017 accident.
Korey Fisher told CBN News in a recent interview that he first began following God in 2011. In an effort to gain self-confidence and build a closer relationship with God, Fisher turned to skydiving.
"I thought to myself 'This is closer to what I imagine God wants us to live like', this – experiencing this, uh being alive. It's about being alive," Fisher said.
Then in November 2017, Fisher, by then a certified skydiving instructor, collided midair with another diver.
"I only saw the individual for about half a second before the collision, in that half a second I literally remember thinking, 'I'm dead.' I just remember accepting it. There was nothing I could do."
Both skydivers fell more than 200 feet before hitting the ground. By the grace of God, both survived.
“I tried to move and couldn't, and then passed back out,” Fisher recalled. “The next thing I know they're putting me in a helicopter, but it was evident I was dying.”
Fisher was taken to a nearby hospital with a broken neck, 12 broken ribs and massive internal injuries.
"They told us that there had been an accident that he had been catastrophically injured and that we needed to come to the hospital right away,” Fisher’s mom Ria told CBN News.
Fisher made it through the night, but doctors said there was a strong possibility that he could be paralyzed.
"God gave us the peace from the very beginning not to panic. Not to go into a circular thought process that you can all go through when you're in a traumatic situation,” Fisher’s dad, Terry, said.
Then, despite the odds, doctors discovered that Fisher was not paralyzed. Spinal surgeon Said Elshihabi recalled the trauma doctor’s disbelief when he relayed the news to him. He said, “And the trauma doctor, his words were specifically, ‘you won’t believe it, but he’s moving everything.’”
Fisher said he prayed before his surgery and again before he was set to enter a rehabilitation hospital.
"Not only did Jesus save my life, but my recovery was supernaturally graced as well,” he proclaimed. “It's completely a miracle. No-no doubt about it. No doubt about it.
"If he can supernaturally change a human being falling out the sky's situation, to not die, to not be paralyzed, to override physical limitations of the human body when striking the ground, He can handle all of the things in my life that I'm not in control of. To give me my life back completely, uninhibited by anything, is overwhelming to me," Fisher shared.
According to CBN News, Fisher is now completely healed and back to being a skydiving instructor.

Prophecy Unfolding: Israel & Iran Prepare For War
Are we about to see World War 3 erupt in the Middle East? Over the past several days, Israel has attempted to prevent attacks by Iranian forces and their allies by striking targets in Syria, Gaza, Lebanon and Iraq.
As you will see below, political leaders in both Lebanon and Iraq are now accusing Israel of a "declaration of war", and Hezbollah is pledging to strike Israel back extremely hard.
Of course if a full-blown war erupts between Israel and one of her neighbors, it is likely to become a multi-front war almost immediately.
But at the core, this is a conflict between Israel and Iran. The Iranians have repeatedly pledged to wipe the nation of Israel off the face of the planet, and the coming "final war" is going to literally be a matter of life or death for those two nations.
Both sides have been preparing for this "final war" for a very long time, and once it fully erupts the death and destruction that we will witness will be off the charts.
Just within the past few days, the fighting has escalated dramatically as the Israelis have conducted operations in four different territories...
Israeli forces openly claimed attacks over the weekend in Syria and the Palestinian-administered Gaza Strip and were blamed for two more operations in Lebanon and Iraq. As reports of what occurred across the region emerged, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted at his country's ongoing efforts abroad, telling a Monday planning meeting that "we will deepen our roots and strike at our enemies."
The attacks in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq specifically targeted Iranian forces and their allies, and the goal was to prevent imminent attacks against Israel...
In Syria, Israeli warplanes killed two members of the Lebanese Hezbollah. Israel says the individuals were supporting an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps plot to launch explosive-laden drones into Israel.
The Israelis say that the specific Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps unit responsible was the Quds Force, led by Qassem Soleimani. If true, the Quds Force was likely using Hezbollah as a deniable proxy to avoid direct links between the plot and Tehran.
In another operation in Lebanon, Israel targeted another Iranian-allied group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. In Iraq, senior Iran-aligned figures accused Israel of another air strike.
Missiles are not flying directly back and forth between Israel and Iran yet, but at this point a state of war essentially exists, and many are deeply concerned about what is going to happen next.
In particular, it looks like Hezbollah could launch a large scale attack against Israel at any moment, because their leadership is absolutely furious that the Israelis just hit their headquarters building in Beirut...
Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's secretary-general, threatened to attack Israel in retaliation for a drone attack over the weekend on the organization's headquarters in Beirut. Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah are now at their highest point since the 2006 war.
And the Lebanese government itself is extremely angry as well. In fact, the president of Lebanon has publicly stated that what Israel has just done is essentially the equivalent of "a declaration of war"...
Lebanese President Michel Aoun met Monday with the U.N. Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jan Kubis, calling Israel's moves in Beirut and Qusaya "a declaration of war."
The statement echoed the words of Iraq's powerful Fateh Alliance, which called separate strikes that killed a militia commander in the border town of Al-Qaim "a declaration of war on Iraq and its people," according to the Associated Press.
This is an extremely serious situation. Israel is literally on the brink of war with Hezbollah, and many feel that such a war is inevitable.
Meanwhile, a very powerful bloc in the Iraqi government has also accused Israel of "a declaration of war"...
A powerful bloc in Iraq's parliament has called for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, following a series of air raids targeting Iran-backed Shia militias in the country that have been blamed on Israel.
The Fatah Coalition said on Monday that it holds the United States fully responsible for the alleged Israeli aggression, "which we consider to be a declaration of war on Iraq and its people."
We had not seen the Israeli military strike targets in Iraq until just recently, and this latest attack has absolutely enraged the Shia militias. During the funeral procession for the commander that was killed in the attack, some of the Shia fighters were actually trampling the American flag...
The Shia militia group, meanwhile, held a funeral procession in Baghdad for the commander killed on Sunday.
"There is no greater God but God!" the mourners shouted as they marched behind a banner with the words "Death to America" and "Death to Israel." Some trampled on an American flag as they marched.
Thousands of U.S. soldiers died, thousands more were injured, and we spent trillions of dollars in the process of "liberating" Iraq, and this is how they feel about us.
What a colossal waste.
Ultimately, nothing is going to be able to stop the massive war that is coming to the region. The Iranians and all of their allies have a religiously-fueled hatred for Israel that most people living in the western world will never understand, and they are absolutely obsessed with permanently destroying the nation of Israel as it exists today.
There will never be peace between the two sides, and the coming apocalyptic conflict will literally be a battle for national survival.
This can definitely be described as a time of "wars and rumors of wars", and the situation on the ground is extremely fluid right now. The fact that the Israelis have another national election coming up adds another layer of complexity to all of this, and that election may cause events to accelerate even faster than many were anticipating.
Let us pray for peace, because right now tensions are extremely high and things are beginning to spiral out of control.
And when a full-blown war does break out, it is highly likely that the U.S. will get involved, and that will have enormous implications for all of us.
